We absolutely loved our night in this hotel. The restaurant was fully booked for our stay so we walked into the town (25 minutes) and had dinner at La Boëte, the best restaurant we have enjoyed in 40 days of touring Spain, Portugal and France.

Excellent hotel on the cliff tops of St Jean de Luz. Lovely walk down hill by the sea - 40 minutes into the town or in the other direction along the clifftops to the Botanical Garden. Free Parking. Very nice pool - we had the pool to ourselves with it being slightly rainy day 😀

The restaurant for dinner had pretentious food not well cooked and it was extremely expensive. We wished we had eaten at one of the great restaurants in town.

A lovely resort type hotel away from the centre of town with great parking. Great location and lovely reception staff.

The installations are old, the TV has no smart connection and no possibility to connect the phone...

The room was fitted out to a very high modern standard while reflecting the style of the locality. The owner was extremely welcoming and hospitable and provided an outstanding breakfast. The local restaurant was ideal for the evening meal.

The location is remarkable and the staff attentive to guests' requirements. The room was quiet and clean and the bed very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The restaurant very good for dinner.

the 'walk' to the town centre was down hill and very steep uphill back - about 20 mins walk. Perhaps a shuttle bus service would help as we hired a car due to the heat.

This was an apartment on the grounds and a little maybe unused it seemed, though it had a pretty good view of the sea. The room had a good terrace in the shade.

The restaurant is quite expensive with limited choice of wine by the glass and bottles were very expensive. Excellent food though.

Access to food was restricted unless you were eating in the hotel you could not buy a croissant without a 20min walk.

We had the larger family apartment overlooking the sea so the view was beautiful.

Buffet breakfast was ok but when area was busy, service erratic was impersonal. Coffee machine breaking down due to demand.

Great location and easy walk to centre of town. Hotel was very clean and had all facilities.

The other side of being on a hill is that you need to be being a shopping list as it is quite the hike up and down to the shops! It would be great if the hotel rented bikes so we could do a few quick trips when needed. Also a minor point but it would be great to have a clothes horse to for wet towels and swimsuits. It took from our lovely balcony view a bit when 5 people started hanging their towels and swimming gear on the railings!

Beautifully located in the hills of st Jean de Luz with magnificent views. Apartments are ideal for the self catering needs of a family but with the niceties of a hotel (room service and daily cleaning). The stand out has to be the infinity pool ..it was the perfect spot to take in those views.

A beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings with views of the sea. Our family room was large and had everything we needed although no milk with the tea and coffee making facilities, but I’m sure if we had asked we would have been provided with some. Beds were big and very comfortable, lots of storage space, good sized bathrooms and a fridge & safe in each room. Everywhere was clean and tastefully decorated. All the staff were very helpful and very friendly and those we dealt with spoke excellent English. The continental breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. The weather could have been better, but we took full advantage of the pools and loungers with exceptional views. We were only sorry that due to our travel plans elsewhere we were only able to stay one night.

Minor nuisances of noisy kids on one of the days 8 euros for a bottle of water is way too high Breakfast staff could be a little more proactive in assisting with things like the coffee machine and bread and toasting area

Location is fantastic food excellent and our room looked out onto the garden and pool area all in all a lovely setting.

Minor issue but shower room and toilet doors opening out opposite wardrobe doors into narrow area at room entrance. Expensive eating in restaurant with bar snack alternatives limited.
