Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe Hotel gives the impression that it has seen better days. Small things... The drain was nearly blocked in the bathroom, and broken coat hangars in the cupboards are a sign of neglect. Breakfast is seriously overpriced. The first impression of the buffet is good but the devil is in the details. On our first morning the person assigned to breakfast duty tried to help but was clueless. On the second morning the unwelcoming monosyllabic individual was worse. No was his operative word. Any pain complet? ...No. Any fresh melon? .. No. No egg cups for the eggs, no bowls for the cereals and no cloth covering for the baguettes to avoid hand contact when cutting your own slices. The melon which was available was old and sour, and the sliced cake had been so long on the plate as to be hard, dry and inedible. Not four star standard and certainly not worth the exorbitant breakfast charge. I'm sure one has to economise on staff but a cheery Bonjour instead of morose silence works wonders. We always book with Booking but, although the room is priced in the best class, we have never been given one with a balcony overlooking the pool and the garden. We always get the balcony with a view of the industrial area compound car park.
Ample free parking. Pleasant breakfast room. Small, but well maintained swimming pool. We have stayed several times when visiting Perpignan for the exhibition Visa pour l'image.

Lokation, breakfast 🥞, terras, price. Dogs welcome. Easy to find, just off the highway. Breakfast was good, with a lot of variation. Egg's, bread, cheese, fruit, yogurt, nice coffee, pancakes, marmalade. And much more.

FranceLady on the reception was unnecessarily curt and should smile more! Although it was a double room we had to ask for more towels as there was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. The woman was quite aggressive and questioning when we asked for the correct amount of towels.
Pool was amazing. And pool surrounds comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was great although hot food like bacon and sausages were scarce. Balcony was fab and room size generous.parking good and disabled access was spot on.very central lots of restaurants walking distance.

FranceAdvertised "heated pool" was actually pretty cold. Intercom phone in our room connected with bare wires and a loose blob of glue coming directly out of the wall. This should have been corrected immediately and is disconcerting inches away from your head as you sleep. Why does a room for two people only have one chair on the balcony?
Excellent breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Bar service until late. Ample parking.

United KingdomThe staff, in particular the gentleman on reception the night we arrived, are what let the place down. The room was advertised as having double bed, two single beds, and living room with sofa bed - this was not the case! There was large double bed, but the 'living room' was a really just part of the one large room, and this is where the two single beds were - there was no other space with a sofa bed despite this being advertised on Booking.com. As a result, we were told that we wouldn't be able to stay! It was 9:30pm when we arrived, to this was far from ideal with 3 young children. We said that we could put two of the young children in one of the single beds, and our 18yo son would have the other single bed, so this got around the problem of no sofa bed. What annoyed us was the very unhelpful attitude from the man on reception... his attitude was very much "well this is not our fault or our problem, so what do you expect us to do?" - not really helpful or accommodating! Breakfast was also very expensive (€16/adult, €8/child) for a basic buffet continental breakfast. There was only one coffee pod for the coffee machine in the room - the booking was for 3 adults so not why they stocked with only one coffee pod, and when I asked for more I was told they don't have any! There was no soap dispenser by the sink in the toilet, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, and the shower gel dispenser in shower also empty (and looked like it hadn't been refilled for some time). The tissue box was also empty. There were only two bath towels in the room when we checked in, again not ideal for 3 adults, so we had to ask for more.
The pool area was very nice, clean and great for kids to play around. We had a nice afternoon swimming. The room was nice in terms of size, with a good terrace/balcony which we enjoyed eating dinner on. We liked the decor and design of the hotel, with nice music playing throughout, and interesting artwork on walls.

United KingdomBUT MINUS POINTS FOR: 1. the quilt on bed in room was much to thick for high summer, so we had to use the air con, so not very environmentally friendly! 2. The shower in the room is useless!! No wall fixture to hold it in place while you step under so you need to hold it or sit on the plastic chair provided! Worse is that there’s no shower tray, just a shadow metal surround on the floor that the water laps over easily, so the whole floor is quickly covered in water - Crazy design! 3. Breakfast very expensive at 15e each and they don’t sell alcohol free beer, which is widely available in Spain. 4. The restaurant is rated 3 out of 5 on google maps and reviews are terrible, the menus displayed outside are tatty and badly presented. There are very little eating options in this area, so they need to improve this for their guests. 5. Overall it’s very popular with business people who would have expense accounts, so most of the above is of no issue EXCEPT the shower, which is badly designed.
Not easy to find as hidden behind another building on a busy roundabout on ring road. Great for overnight stay if you don’t want to visit the city BUT be aware of the lack of eating places around here! Most of those listed on google maps are closed or only open lunchtimes ( it’s deserted in the evening) The hotel is clean, modern and pleasant enough, good free car park outside, large comfortable room with small balcony, fridge, kettle, tv, air con, WiFi,etc. Pleasant grounds with swimming pool and sunbeds but needed cleaning.

United KingdomThe hotel was located in a retail area but it was surrounded by a boundary wall, inside the boundary was a good quality hotel. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing after the great food we had in the restaurant the evening before.
It is a nice hotel with lots of facilities and a great atmosphere, staff were really friendly and the room was excellent, Parking was private and secure at no extra cost. Restaurant food was exceptional, best food we had on our trip.

Well set up for business and leisure travellers. Friendly staff, restaurant food well cooked and presented, easy to locate, close to the motorway, but not noisy despite that. The room had everything we needed plus a mini bar.

United KingdomBooked because they told me a bit of grass for dog walking outside hotel. There wasn’t! They had previously told me that there was a park area where the dogs could run not far from the hotel. There wasn’t. Dogs not allowed in restaurant. Unusual in France. But fair enough.
