The staff were exceptional - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely village and so close to the vineyards and to Sancerre and other pretty villages. Great breakfast, amazing dinner and the beer was good too!

The pillows could have been a little firmer for our preference, but the bed was very comfortable.

Samantha at the front desk was delightful, positive and very helpful during our visit. The property is located in the charming village very near Sancerre village. You must visit the winery and taste the Famille Bourgeois wines just a short walk up the street. The breakfast was enjoyable with standard options which meet our needs well. The staff member who manages the breakfast works hard to have all the tables properly set up for each guest. We recommend you inquire about the protocol if you need an extra plate, coffee mug or silverware, none of which are provided next to the buffet table area. Also, come early if you drink brewed Americano coffee, when it runs out, you will only have the option of the expresso machine, which was fine for us, but not everyone may want this choice. The property offers a pre booked dinner service which was very nice for our first night arrival. All the staff were professional and helpful to us, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We had the top floor room overlooking the central square with a fountain in the center of the roundabout. We could also view the surrounding slopes of some of the vineyards on the hillside. The lack of car parking was a slight issue.

The hotel met and exceeded our expectations. Everything relating to our stay was very good. The restaurant however was exceptional. Excellent food excellent friendly and efficient service. Best food we’ve had in some time.

The breakfast was good although it was a little bit limited in terms of alternatives. I also miss the opportunity of la carte for the dinner. It was only possible to choose between three types of full menues.

Fantastic place with marvellous environment in the centre of Sancerre area. Very good food for dinner. Service oriented personal.

Nothing to dislike!

The location was lovely. Just out of Sancerre, in a small village with plenty of wine tasting houses within walking distance. Our room was triple aspect with lovely views over the vineyards. The restaurant is expensive, but the food was really lovely. It was fully booked which is always a good sign. Breakfast was included which was good, but it didn't offer the range of foods we have had in other hotels. There isn't any parking at the hotel, bit there was plenty of parking in the village.

Plenty of space in our suite. A very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The staff were excellent. Samantha at reception was so helpful. Fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere. Superb wines as you'd expect.

It rained a lot but that couldn't be helped !

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast items. Comfy beds, huge rooms with plenty of space. We were on a wine tour so found the hotel to be excellent and having their own wine tasting and cellar in the centre of the region. We all had a very enjoyable stay.

Breakfast a bit pricy at €15 for a yogurt, a coffee, a juice and a roll! Restaurant meno could do with more choices

A couple of things we didn’t think the breakfast was good value and not up to standard of the establishment, would like a freshly made pot of coffee for the table, not a pot shared by the whole room and 2 small pats of butter not adequate We had the discovery menu the first night and it was delicious as normal but we had the Signature menu the second night night unfortunately a couple of the dishes were disappointing,our Veal was extremely tough and sinewy very hard to cut and the dessert an Apple and dill Macaroon was not well balanced and the dill killed the taste of the apple

We have stayed here many times over the years ,perfect for a few day visiting the wineries of the region The staff are welcoming and friendly especially Samantha the New receptionist and the waiters in the restaurant A very pleasant stay

For me the water pressure wasn't good enough. And in the morning too much light enter the room, i covered the windows, but it wasn't perfect.

The crew was nice, the room was big and lovely. They notified us before that the restaurant is full for dinner, and make sure we order somewhere else.

Breakfast was just OK. The TV did not receive any English language programming.

Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and furnishings. Reception was excellent and drinks on the patio were nice. This hotel has a lift, vey important to senior travelers.
