Nothing, it is just perfect!

An exceptional stay in the most beautiful of places! Our hosts were so lovely and welcoming. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of truly excellent complementary Champagne and our host was kind enough to arrange the supplying vineyard (in the next village) to open up for us to call in that afternoon to buy a dozen bottles - the owner of the vineyard was so kind and helpful too!! We had an amazing stay here, the room was simply stunning and immaculately clean, with a beautiful bathroom, huge walk-in shower, very comfortable large double bed, and the addition of a small and really useful kitchenette! The location is perfect for exploring the Champagne region and very quiet at night for sleeping. Secure parking behind locked gates too. Breakfast was wonderful, our hosts had ordered in a loaf of gluten free bread especially for my wife who is a coeliac which was so very kind. Jams and various breads for me, french breakfast pastries (again for me), eggs, cheese, etc. etc. just beautiful and all served in a stunning renovated stable block! Just a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast. You must stay here if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area. We’ll be back soon!!!

Wow, What a beautiful place inside and out. The rooms were amazingly decorated, extremely clean and large. The grounds were picturesque and really felt like you were out of town. The attention to detail and warm and friendly welcome from Marie-Hélène and Thierry was unforgettable and we are so thrilled with our experience. When we come back to this region we will stay here again!

The property is just stunning. The rooms are beautiful, the views and grounds are incredible. From beginning to end of our stay we kept saying how special it was, from the giant free standing bath in the room to the views of the vineyard from the skylight windows to the complimentary glass of champagne on the terrace. Amazing hosts, amazing place 👏

It’s quite new I guess, so some finishing touches needed here and there, but noting shocking.

Arriving in style because of the nice road to the house, a warm welcome at the door, and Champagne in the lovely garden. Could live be better? A luxurious room, bed was good, and a kitchen if needed. Breakfast was great!

Wonderful place, more than anything you could dream of! The rooms are big and beautifully designed, the garden and the vineyards look like a postcard, breakfast is delicious. But first and foremost - the couple who runs this place - Thierry and Marie-Hélène - are wonderful, kind and really want to make you feel at at home. Perfect place, perfect location, wonderful experience! One more word - Pirouette the parrot is the cutest, made us smile every morning.

Beautifully and sympathetically renovated, Marie-Helene is a charming and welcoming host who gave us an interesting insight into the history of the property and how original features have been incorporated into the design of the rooms to create a characterful setting. The fixtures and furnishings were top quality, extremely comfortable bed. Lovely views over the vines from the terrace where we enjoyed a welcome glass of champagne. Fresh local produce served with breakfast. We will definitely return!

we like everything! One small suggestion to further improve is perhaps to compliment the nice breakfast with some of the wonderful fresh fruit that France has to offer.

Beautiful place, very tastefully decorated, spacious rooms and wonderful hosts who give so many reliable recommendations. Very personal approach. We love to come to Ecrin de Vignes!
