Excellent location close to the castle and walking tracks along the river, stunning view and hosts were incredibly welcoming (I had forgotten to mention I was bringing my baby but when they realized they brought out toys, crib and a high chair that we could use which was incredibly helpful). Would recommend to friends and family.

Everything was excellent - the location and the apartment is lovely and spacious, perfect for our family of 4 The hosts went out of their way to rearrange our dates and also provided us with bikes. The location is excellent with an quick walk to the old city and an amazing view from the Terrace.

Lovely welcoming owners Gisèle and Marc. We much appreciated the wine! The apartment is stylish and well-equipped as well as being in an excellent position for exploring the Cité and Bastide areas. Just one suggestion: it would’ve been nice to have a full-length mirror, eg on the back of a door. We celebrated our anniversary at a formal restaurant and it would have been handy to be able to check our outfits before leaving. Overall, great accommodation with lots of outside space, very handy parking and fabulous views.

Absolutely nothing!

We loved everything! There are stairs to access so be aware of that but the gite is all on one floor. It was spotless and one of the best kitchen facilities we’ve had on this trip. The view! Full view of the Cite! The terrace is huge and a lovely table to eat outside with full view of the fortress. Gisèle and Marc are the sweetest people we have met on this trip. We would return again; only stay in Carcassonne longer. Don’t miss the modern town of Carcassonne. Beautiful squares and gardens! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Wonderful location with stunning views of the Chateau Comtal. The property was very clean and well kept, plenty of room for our family of six. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Hosts were extremely accommodating even bringing us phone chargers when we forgot ours. They even drove us back to the airport on our day of departure. Amazing trip and would definitely recommend staying here.

The only issue was signing onto the Wi-Fi, but the hosts quickly resolved our problem.

We loved everything about this property. We had our own gated parking and the most amazing view of the walled city.

Nothing. It was perfect!

We had the loveliest time staying at this apartment. The beds were comfy, the shower was powerful, and everything was clean and cosy. We even arrived to find a bottle of wine waiting for us! But the view and the hospitality from the hosts really made our stay. The terrace is the perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day sightseeing, and allowed us to sunbathe in the afternoon, even in October. The hosts are incredibly friendly and generous, making themselves available through our stay and even offering us a lift to the airport. We absolutely recommend that you stay here when you visit Carcassonne. You won't regret it.

The house is in a fantastic location for exploring the Medieval City, just 5 minutes away on foot, and has stunning views of the castle from the terrace. The property is very clean and has a nice, stylish decor with all appliances in good working order in the kitchen and bathroom. The outdoor area is great and has a dining table and chairs, very comfortable loungers and a BBQ. Air conditioning in the living area was a bonus and a chilled bottle of wine and some soft drinks on arrival were a very nice touch. The owners are very friendly and try to make sure your stay is comfortable and it certainly was - thank you very much!

The view over adjacent gardens was frustrating as they both had pools and with temperature in the high 30's it would have been great to jump right in!! Hardly a complaint since we were aware the was no pool BUT NOTHING else fell short of our expectations and satisfaction

Whilst the kerb appeal of the property was very limited the accommodation was very good indeed. The kitchen/lounge were spacious and well fitted and the bedrooms were all of a good size, the shower was first rate and having a separate wc was 'convenient'!! The location immediately below the 'old citi' was perfect from a convenience point of view and to be able to sit on the upper patio and have that as a backdrop was more than good. Parking for both cars on site was more than a bonus given the central location. The hosts were friendly and helpful with good advise.
