Perfect for our overnight stay, breaking up a long drive through France. Room was a good size and well equipped - you could prepare a simple meal using the microwave and electric stove top should you wish. Fridge and hairdryer also useful. Good sized bathroom and an outside seating area. More homely than a generic roadside hotel

The gite we booked was not the one we were given to stay in, but for one night we didn't complain, it was a wooden chalet with other rooms adjacent, which meant, on occasion, noise did transmit through. Roof very noisy when it rained. Some external parts were in need of finishing touches.

The property was at the end of a cul-de-sac on a residential street and the parking is restricted but on this occasion, was in the house driveway. Small patio area with table& chairs En-suite bathroom was well presented and functional. The bedroom area was not overly spacious but was acceptable and comfortable. If purchased, the continental breakfast was nice and reasonable value for money.

Very clean room. Cooperative owners. No problem with arrival earlier than scheduled. Close to Leclerc shop to buy food. Room was very comfortable. Internet was working 100%.

Perfect for an over night for a tired travelling family. Beautiful clean rooms with everything you need. Hosts were so helpful as arrived late but left clear instructions. Parking on the driveway was a huge bonus with a car load of ski gear and a bike on the back. Very safe neighbourhood. Lovely cosy and well designed rooms. Would definitely stay again if we were passing.

Breakfast was very good, croissants, bread, juices, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, butter, jam etc. It was cosy, comfortable. Short drive to Macon for resturants for an evening meal. The top bed was a bit difficult for our 14 year old son to get into, but he is exceptionally tall for his age. David showed us around briefly and we arranged the time for breakfast. which he dropped off as arranged.

No WiFi, only natural light through door.

Since le chalet is very small, we liked the outdoor area. The location for us was good, coming from Italy, a location near the route north was ideal. The shower was more spacious than some but low ceiling a little tight. Aurelie took the time to welcome us, which was nice.

There is no window to look outside. Just a door with opal glass. That would bother me during a longer stay.

Very nice hosts who speak English. We got fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. Cute and cosy room, perfect for our overbight stop on our way from Spain to Germany. Good parking situation. There are a few restaurants in walking distance (however, the pizzeria we wanted to go to was already sold out after 8pm. Be early for dinner!)

Very warm welcome with good communication beforehand. A great little chalet with everything you need. So much cozier than a hotel room. The garden was lovely to sit out in after a long drive. Excellent overnight stop. Will definitely be staying here again.
