Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeI found difficulty locating the place although it’s supposed to be very near the Bordeaux station.
Jost is a hip hotel with chic decor & cool innovative installations.

RussiaThe location is more convenient to travel by train as it’s not too far from the centrali railway station. The room was small containing only the bed literally. The bathroom is shared.
The cheapest available option is more or less close to the city centre.

United States of AmericaGreat place to stay. I stayed here when they first opened in July 2022. They had a long way to go then to be a super place to stay. Let me tell you, they have done a fantastic job! The staff is very friendly, it is close to the train station, and everything now works, including the restaurants and bars. I am glad I came back and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Costa RicaI never understood how the lights from my beds worked. Mine got turned on in the morning by someone getting ready to leave. No biggie but no clue why.
I was expecting total chaos for the price I was paying. But it turned out to be quite nice. The shared room was well designed and I was able to get in late at night without disturbing everyone.

United KingdomNo rule re the main light being turned off - so still on past midnight. Which is annoying. So bring an eye mask with you. You can draw the curtain around your bed, but the light still gets through.

ColombiaA mistake on "the system" meant I was put into a women's only dorm, which was uncomfortable for me and them . They quickly rectified this for the next day however. Also the rooms are too hot and I was sad the roof wasn't open.
Stylish and very spacious for co-working! Had all facilities I needed and the staff were very focused on helping me as much as they could.

PolandIt seems to be close to the railway station and it is but not if you're with load of luggages and by your own, as is not as easy to get there at least now. There's a deposit to pay, which is obligatory and it's paid by card, however, on the beds the plugs doesn't work, there are weird smells on the stairs and commons kitchen, without any worries for keeping it clean thorough out the day and even no soap in the showers. I mean, I'm not that pretentious but if your gonna charge a extra deposit, I expect also something to be working both sides ...
It was very comfortable and safe. Good price. Good breakfast with buffet though they don't put fruit or veggies on it The staff was very kind and helpful.

NetherlandsUnexpectedly I had to pay a deposit!!!no mention on that through booking.com I had to give my creditcard number. I do not have a credit card, so I had to pay 50 euro cash. I had already paid for my room , so I think this is utter nonsense. Lights went out at 22.00 hours and back on again at 6.30. like highschool. You have to ask for a towel and then you get a very small one.
It was close to the station and that is the only good thing about it

Your staff treated me like a criminal. The manager although half my age treated me like a child. It took you three days to open my placard because many times your cards do not work.I lost two days of work and had to pay for time your staff wasted.I was exhausted and spent the night outside.Lovely storm last night.luckily I built a shelter behind your establishment. You have banned me for life but the problem was not just me forgetting to clean the kitchen(and my phone)You sent extra security to insure that I left. You broke your promise of letting me work for a couple of hours,I was well charged with luggage and you went back on your promise to let me make two trips for my baggage. This is not over this history. You went from being my favorite hotel to leaving me with less faith in the younger generation than I had last week

Netherlandsthe hostel and the actual city center are separated by a dangerous area where it is not recommended to walk around (especially in the evening); i had issues (several times) with my room key and locker; there was no soap in the toilet or the shower area; the rooftop bar was closed for no reason (personally speaking, the view was not that great either); limited english-speaking staff.
the hostel seems to be new (nice infrastructure); elevators are fast, rooms are nice; beds are great, with curtains for privacy; the windows are soundproof; the hostel is only a 10-min walk from the train station; there is a supermarket and restaurants close by.
