Maegaux was on front desk she was very helpful providing us everything we needed and advised us on activities on the area . With all staff good too .

The hotel is a little bit dated and the rooms could use some renovation. There is no air-conditioning or coffee maker in the room. But the rooms are spacious and clean

The location is really beautiful! And the village of Talloires is really nice. I'm so happy to stay here instead of Annecy, which was full of tourists. Perfect to swim in the lake or the pool. Breakfast was good. Also some nice places to eat

It could do with a lot of work tidying the rooms up! There was some rubbish on my balcony which was there the whole 2 weeks of my stay! Nothing to do with the staff but I felt the management needed to “tidy” up all the rooms! Paint work and do up the bathrooms!! However, I would still love to go back and stay there again in the future.

Perfect for me as I had room with a balcony overlooking the lovely pool! The room itself looked as though it needed a really good refurbishment but adequate for what I needed. The staff were ALL absolutely delightful and extremely friendly!

No air con in rooms, we had one good Dyson fan for the first few nights but when we moved to a smaller room half way through our trip the fans were old and not very good so the nights were quite hot. More food options for lunch would also be fab for days when we want to stay by the pool with the kids

Location is incredible, a few minutes stroll from the lake. Hotel is charming and full of character. Pool is huge, plenty of sun loungers and shady spots for lunch or time out the sun, bowls and table tennis to keep the family entertained too. Will definitely be staying here again in the future

Our only issue was the room being warm despite our efforts and the large fan provided. Ended up solving by opening door to cooler corridor & creating a thru-draft with windows. It was 34°C outside, and just a tad sticky inside.

Lovely, friendly, beautifully located hotel. Smiley helpful staff. Nice pool area with bar and table service from excellent and friendly bar man. Really large room. We got a kettle to use for the duration for free, and a few other bits. The fridge, a good size for a hotel room, was really useful. The staff were all friendly and helpful to a couple of non-French speakers!

The WC was malodorous, there was only a minimal amount of shower gel. The mini-fridge wasn't plugged-in when we arrived and barely kept its contents cool.

The location was marvellous, the staff were very friendly. We appreciated the small adjoining room for our 9 year-old son.

Everything was just right for us.

We were en route back to the UK from Tuscany in a classic car, and were seeking a comfortable hotel for an overnight stop, with secure parking off-road. Hotel du Lac provided everything we were looking for….and recommended the restaurant next door which was excellent.

We loved the location and style of this hotel, so close to the lake but in a quiet village setting. The staff were very welcoming and helpful during our short stay, we also enjoyed relaxing around the pool area and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future.

The hotel was excellent and their guests quite. We did not like the noise of the outdoor Top Gun film and the disco on the Lakeside beach, as we could not go with young children.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very warm during our stay We appeciated that we could have our lunch in the shade under the trees next to the really good swimming pool.
