We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really nicely renovated building, very spacious room, hotel staff was very attentive although we checked in after 10pm only. The hotel is close to the train station and not so far from the highway. Managed to find parking spot on the street in front of the hotel.

United KingdomWe would have preferred a kettle to be available, so that we could make a proper cup of tea and for there to have been two large cups, instead of only one. There was a coffee machine with pods but no decaffeinated coffee. Using the machine to produce hot water for tea does not make a proper cup of British tea!
The hotel is only a few minutes, easy walk from the railway station and an easy walk to the town centre too. It was a perfect location for us. The breakfast was good. The first time we stayed, we had a larger room, which allowed us to spread out our luggage a little more than the second time, with a smaller room. However, as we were only staying for one night each time, it did not matter too much.

GermanyShower installation was faulty and water leaked onto bathroom floor and needs to be wiped or the floor is wet and walking into carpeted bedroom is not so nice.
Location was within an easy walk into town and the fabric museum. Quiet but central, interestingly renovated and friendly staff. Good sized room with dining facility and a relaxation lounge for reading and board games.

Very warm and friendly welcome at the hotel. Staff went out of their way to help at all times. The rooms are tastefully decorated (our bathroom was very small though), clean and with air con. Breakfast was good. Location is good - a short walk from city centre, we parked in a covered parking lot nearby. Hotel had sent us details upon booking and we pre booked a space.

The receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. She came out to show where to park our motorcycles within the grounds of the hotel. The hotel and the rooms were clean, we asked for 2 rooms close together and this was accommodated. As we were leaving early we opted not to have breakfast on this occasion. When we left the following morning the receptionist helped my wife with her bags and waved us off. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we were in the area.
