Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumI didn’t feel very safe walking in the area at night. The room service took a bit longer than I expected, but the staff quickly solve it.

AustraliaThe bathroom is small which is ok but the new shower screen cannot be fully opened and touches the handbasin. This will lead to problems in the future as a guest may accidentally crack or break the screen, particularly if they are a large build,
Although the hotel was being renovated and received a name change while we were there our stay was comfortable. We were grateful for the small lift as we had heavy luggage. The new fitout is quality and the staff were very friendly and amenable.

United States of AmericaVery, very small room, and especially the bath. The shower was hard to use because it was so small and the curtain was not adequate for keeping the floor dry. The elevator holds one person with one bag.
The price was right. The staff was cordial and welcoming. It was clean and safe. On the top floor, under the eaves, the window faced south and had a slight vie2 of Sacre Coeur. Sufficient breakfast in the French fashion.

FranceIt should’ve said there was major refurbishment going in the hotel, the smell of paint and chemicals was really bad, even in the rooms at night. Our shower was so small it was almost impossible to use, as you bathroom flooded because the shower curtain was useless and no fridge, kettle or coffee and tea making facilities in the room
Location great, rooms clean and quality bedding and towels, quiet at night

New ZealandThe lift was very tiny, wouldnt want to be in there with a stranger, only just room for 2 people, or one person and suitcase/bags.There was work going on in the building and road works outside, but didn't really bother us too much didn't notice any noise, more just dusty.
It was really close to the Metro and le puces de saint ouen (markets). The staff were great and very helpful. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

GermanyI booked a comfort single room. This should be on the ground floor, overlooking the courtyard, and should have, among other things, a minibar, a cupboard, coffee and tea facilities and a kettle and even a dressing room. Unfortunately, I only had a room description in German with me and was in a big hurry when checking in and came back to the hotel very late, at this time I got the key for room 707. Room 707 was on the 7th floor, with a street view without most of the amenities mentioned. When I asked, I was told I had only booked a single room. The satellite reception was extremely bad, only three French channels. were provided In summary, my stay was pleasant, but I am very disappointed that my accommodation did not meet many of the features mentioned
Well, my room 707 was very small, at least with a view of Sacre-Coeur. Overall I was happy with the room as it was functionally very good, had a large bed and was very clean and gave the impression of being newly renovated. The breakfast was also good.

United KingdomThere was a lot of construction work in the street in front of the hotel, and inside the hotel as well, with lots of noise and dust in common areas, and it was difficult to use the lift as was used for the works. Would have been better to receive some communication from the hotel beforehand telling about the ongoing works, or offer some discount due to the inconvenience. The area around the metro station can be a bit dodgy especially during night. The Air-conditioning in the room was not working properly and the bathroom is incredibly tiny.
Room is quiet with good noise isolation. The breakfast was not bad, and they kept replenishing with good quality products. 2 blocks South of the hotel the area is nice with cafes and easy to reach Mont martre by walking.

IrelandThe noise made for the construcion works early in the mornig outside (not hotel fault) The side of the room looks bigger in the pictures. The dust on the stairs becacuse the renovations works (I understand that it is temporary)
It got access to public transport very close what gave us the chance to reach everywhere pretty fast. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. Good place for go with friends. A lot of places to go for a drink or dinner close to the hotel.

United KingdomAlthough close to the metro, you don’t want to be walking around too much by yourself in the dark…..location a little dodgy. I got scammed in a taxi and lost 900€. Spent the last day filing a police report! Bathroom a little small and lack of hot water. Some milk sachets would be handy to go with the tea facilities for future recommendation.
The room was comfortable & cosy - with plenty of side lights, small fridge, tea facilities and clean. The most helpful aspect were the friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. Also, close to the metro and various supermarkets/Fast Food outlets.
