Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful room and bathroom. Very well priced for location and close to the train station making it easy to get around London. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when I return to Paris.

United KingdomWe had a Prestige Room, # 502, and the only disappointment was unable to hang the shower head up so you had to hold that when standing showering in the bath. Huge bathroom & lovely powerful shower!
Lovely Hotel, centrally located for visiting main Paris sights by Metro & RER. Lots of nearby bars & restaurants. Breakfast was also very good. Would stay here again. Our room had a double sized balcony on 5th Floor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gabriel Paris, the room was extremely comfortable and very clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful to us. We enjoyed the variety of foods that were offered for our breakfast. This hotel is ideally located in Paris with good metro options and bus services, it has a great variety of lovely restaurants and bars . We would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Friendly and professional staff. Everyone went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. Although the room was on the small side, I loved it! It was so cute and quaint. The hotel was very nicely decorated and also had a quaint feel to it. The breakfast was pleasantly surprising. They provided a nice variety of food choices and beverages. The location was good. There is easy access to the metro and many shops and restaurants.
