The wellness is not really accessible for fast travellers. Excellent parking, but such a small parking spots. The house keeping needs to improve.

The room was excellent (as usual in this hotel), my stay was a delight, and the team did every they could to give me a wonderful stay!

Noise in our room on 10th floor - due to roof-top bar just above n 11th floor, with quite a bit of 'boom-boom' until 1 o'clock. Expensive and narrow garage, with unclear getting-in and getting-out instructions ( creating a lot of unnecessary stress)

Original, 'insolite'. Close to the city-center. Well-equipped spacious room, very nice view over the city of Cologne. Great breakfast, although quite expensive (31 euros per person).

Lighting in the room is less than we are used to. It is due to design but during the dark period- autumn and winter I would appreciate more light in the room.

It is a place with a character. Perfect location, perfect sound proofing, very nice service, especially people working at breakfast, very very nice people and excellent breakfast.

Breakfast wasn’t good ! Nothing special! Hot and cold breakfast doesn’t have a same price! It was funny to pay more for hot! Normally in Hotels the guests pay for buffet breakfast and that’s it! Please change your mind about breakfast service in this great hotel.

The large windows offered a bit too much light first thing in the morning. I travelled at the end of June so sunrise was 5am or so. The staff weren’t overly friendly either. But efficient so no complaints. I didn’t have time to try the breakfast but it looked good from what I could see.

I really enjoyed that the building had character. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows that give lots of natural light. Bathroom was fantastic too, tons of space and excellent shower. Location is just outside the centre, easy reach with an Uber but quite long to walk. There was a public pool opposite too. I didn’t get to use it but if I’d had more time it looked excellent.

Room was not cleaned for 2 days, not a tragedy. But would have expected it to be a base expectation, not a specific ask.

The hotel is in a low emissions zone, not being from Europe we did not know what this was until too late. There’s no mention of this on the website OR Booking.com. I feel it should be listed with the parking info to help future guests avoid headaches. We were traveling in a car from the Netherlands which did not have a low emissions sticker. We also arrived on a Sunday which meant we could not get a sticker as everything was closed. We called the hotel and were advised we should have informed our selves before arriving. To get around this we parked the car outside the low emissions zone left it over night (Bit scary leaving a car in an unknown neighborhood) and caught a train into town.

The music played in the reception area at night to boost the party ambience was a bit too loud in our room, but the staff were happy to resolve this when asked.

Hard not to like anything. The only let down was one of the days my room wasn't cleaned but this wasnt too much of an issue in the grand scheme of things.

Hotel is a an old beautifully converted water tower. For any architecture lovers its a great place to stay. Rooms are very well presented with free wifi throughout. Breakfast was great with a good selection of options from hot, cold & continental. The bar on top was great too.

The bar was so busy on Saturday night that we couldn't get a drink which was a shame as it was my husband's birthday and couldn't make use of a free drinks voucher either (a nice system if you don't want your room cleaned is that you get a voucher but we couldn't use it).

Really interesting place to stay. Liked the lounges on the ground floor as a place to hang out and have a coffee or tea. The bar was nice when it wasn't busy with great views over the city. The room was very nice but way too hot even without the heating on we had to have the window open the whole time and take off the duvet!
