Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomNo coffee or tea in the room. Breakfast limited. No open buffet. They will serve you with a natural juice, A coffee, two croissants, a baguette, a fruit yoghurt, butters and 3 jams. That's it!
The hotel has been opened just October 2023. So it's completely new and clean! So no bed bugs! 😅 Staff was friendly, specially Mr. Khalid he was a freindly guy with professional manner. I have stayed in several hotels in Paris before but I try to go here whenever possible. Location has 5 minute access to bus and metro stations.

United KingdomI absolutely hated the mattress protector sheet - which was like bin bag material. It made us so sweaty and it would rustle whenever you moved. I understand a mattress protector is needed, but there are better quality ones out there - and with the bed being the most important part of your stay, it really needs to be changed! This is easily solved though and shouldn’t stop anyone from staying. Some more basic amenities could have been provided - a kettle to make drinks, separate shampoo and shower gel, slippers etc
Location was great, close to metro, easy to walk to things in Montmartre. It was a simple hotel, clean, smelt nice, there was a safety deposit box in room. I had a room with a view of the basilica which I loved. I liked the relaxing music in the main downstairs area. I liked that there were some croissants outside of the lift to help yourself to! I’m assuming they were left after breakfast, but it was a lovely touch. The staff were really lovely! Always greeting you when you came in. The cleaners were also lovely. I liked that at night the front door was locked and you had to buzz to be let in - it made me feel safe staying there. The hotel was very quick to repair things! I noticed a glass door being damaged over night and was being fixed literally the next day.

Luxembourgit's not Four stars hotel actually, but when you walk there you can find that they put three stars on their sign, which make me feel cheated. Room is too small and you can hear what happen next to your room and what happen updtairs. Sound insulation is not good.
In gerneral it's fine. Close to metro and people there are nice. Small but clean.

United StatesThe room was cramped and very warm. We opened the window at night but there was so much noise in the street from all night parties that we couldn’t sleep. The area is full of sex shops and too near the Moulin Rouge—not our kind of area. The breakfast was good, but two pastries and bread EVERY day got old very quickly.

United KingdomFor what we paid (£200 a night) I was hoping for a lot more. If I would have paid £130 I would have been a lot more content. The room was modern but small with average lighting. There wasn't really a lobby/reception/bar area which I personally quite like in a hotel. Breakfast was also pretty disappointing - just bread and croissant. I tried to get a piece of fruit but was told it would be an extra 2 euros...
The night porter, Khalid, was a lovely man who helped brighten our stay. The bed was comfy and bathroom was good. It is also in a good location if you like a bit of buzz and some cool streets nearby.

United KingdomWe weren’t told until we messaged the hotel to ask, that the spa was closed for renovation when we’d booked the property because we wanted to use it. There was also a power cut for a whole day which meant we had breakfast in the dark and couldn’t charge our phones or use hairdryers etc. the rooms were also absolutely tiny, and the photos on booking.com only ahowed much bigger rooms so we were really disappointed. We’d booked this for my mothers birthday as a special place to stay but it didn’t feel special unfortunately. The rooms were also really hot even though it was December and the air con didn’t work.

LithuaniaThe permanent horrible noise in the street every night - by people, by transport vehicles. Due to that you cannot sleep with the window open, when you close the window you cannot sleep due to the lack of air and you cannot switch on the conditioner as it's not ready for in winter - it means you can hardly sleep :). The cleaning gentleman seemed to lack skills, he left a lot of water drops on the floor in the bathroom, and the bathtub was not cleaned well. He brought away somewhere my bathroom gown, hanging on the hook, just for. The bar guy (?) did not allow 2 hotels guests to eat the delivered food in the breakfast place, which was empty. The information about the fact, that there will be no electricity for more than half a day due to the change of the meter, was delivered the day before in the late afternoon - as if you do not plan such things being a hotel in advance.
The renovation of the hotel and new not worn-out rooms. The drinking water aparatus in the lobby. The view through the window. The staff's friendliness to us.

South AfricaI did not like how small the hotel is in general; the pictures I saw suggested the rooms would be well sized to manouver easily, however, it is even more difficult to walk through the corridors from room to elevator, especially when carrying travel luggage.
I like the overall friendliness and service of the staff. They were very helpful and welcoming upon my arrival.
