Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Location is excellent. Did not have breakfast. Staff very attentive and more than helpful. They answered all questions and made me feel welcome and listened to. Room was very clean and tidy. Bed was larger than expected and very comfortable. I expect a good standard from Holiday Inn and this did not disappoint. Takes the stress out of staying

GermanyExtremely rude employee at the reception desk. We asked for blanket since our suite’s pull out sofa did not have one. The employee who we assume was a manager insisted there was one and said she will show us. She was so argumentative over a blanket in stating the hotel didn’t have anymore. Really? A hotel with no more blankets? After this insane back and forth, a very nice gentleman went and brought a freshly wrapped blanket to us. This was a spirited exchange over a blanket request. Each time we saw this manager she would exchange obvious looks with her coworkers in our direction. It was so disappointing to see the unprofessional approach in handling an issue. The other hotel staff were so professional and polite.
Perfect location for walking to Old Town and downs town shops and restaurants.

Lovely welcome from hotel staff I was upgraded to a lovely room, it was clean, had tea and coffee, comfy beds and air-conditioning, English TV for the teenager. Bathroom was a tad tired but the bath helped. Breakfast was great. A few hot options, good juice and various cold options. This hotel is in a fab location on a classy street less than 10 mins to the promenade, a few mins from a tram stop to/from the airport and the main shopping street 10/15 mins to the old town.

IrelandThe bathrooms really need a revamp, they are so tired and worn. Clean but looked grubby due to broken tiles etc… Also didn’t like the way the shampoo and shower gel were attached to the wall. I soaked all the towels and bathroom floor trying to stretch to them. Not many healthy options available at breakfast if you didn’t like yoghurt and muesli or tepid scrambled eggs. Staff not very helpful at breakfast.
The staff were very friendly, check-in and out was so easy. I really loved that they allowed us to check-in at 11am as the rooms were ready, without any hesitation. Location was brilliant. Easily accessible to local transport, less than a 10 min walk to Promenade des Anglais and 5 mins to great restaurants.

AustraliaI use a stick, and as there was no slip mat provided in the bath I could not risk standing in a slippery bath for a shower or sitting in the bath. When I asked for a mat, the reply was not at all satisfactory. We have never been asked for one, was the answer. Well, it is about time you provided them for any one who is disabled in any way and does not want to risk falling, and your hotel being sued. The stopper in the sink also did not close properly.

United StatesRoom is getting worn down and dated. Really needs a refresh. Very dark with insufficient and bad lighting. Bath tub is huge, but there is no shower. Just a shower attachment that you can use to rinse off. Very strange and inconvenient.
Really good location. Near Old Town, beach, tram, train station, shops, and restaurants, but far enough away from the crowds. Had a top floor suite with a nice balcony and great view. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.
