Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was lovely but very cosy; it wasn't really big enough for 2 large suitcases and we were often stepping over them - but we spent most of the time outside of the hotel anyway so this didn't really matter, especially for just a few days. In future we would definitely stay at Grand Pigalle again, but book a larger room.
We loved our stay at Grand Pigalle! The room had so many lovely touches (e.g. French jazz playing on the stereo, bottled cocktails in the mini bar, plug adaptors, etc), was beautifully decorated and very clean and modern. The bed was big and very comfy, as were the towels. The bathroom had everything we could possibly need (hairdryer, face cloths, lovely shower products) and was also beautifully tiled. The staff were lovely and very responsive to anything we needed at any hour. The location was also brilliant - on a lovely street and very easy to get around, close to Gard du Nord & Pigalle metro.

I loved the décor of this hotel! The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were clean. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let me borrow an umbrella on a rainy day.

NetherlandsThe bed was a bit hard (for us) and the shower in the bath was not very nice. It would almost flood the bathroom and the shower head was not super comfortable. Fine for a bath though. However, all the other elements were super good - so this was not a huge deal for us.
Staff is really great and helpful, restaurant is excellent. Location is good. We enjoyed our stay here a lot!

This is now my go to hotel to stay in Paris. The location is great, off the main strip of Pigalle but so close to wander up to Montmartre or down to SoPi. The staff are fantastic, always friendly and helpful and the 24 hour concierge is a great service. The beds are close to the best Ive slept in across Paris and the rooms are excellent, great layout, size and really well equipped. Finally, their restaurant Frenchie should be on everyone's list to eat at.
