This is an old, narrow townhouse with, I should think, little room for an elevator but, oh my goodness, the stairs! Fit, young things, with a back pack, would find little problem but older, less agile customers, with a suitcase might struggle. I am relieved that I was not on the top floor! However, the reception staff were happy to help with our bags without us having to ask. I had read other reviews which said that there were no disposable cups to drink from in the room and that it was difficult to get a bottle under the tap. This would be a bit of a problem if arriving hot, tired and thirsty - just make sure you have bottles of water with you.

The location was extremely good. No more than 10 minutes from Montparnasse Railway station and about 2 minutes to the nearest metro station. There always seemed to be a pleasant and helpful person on reception and they advertise that reception is open 24/7. We had help with our bags to and from our room and our bags stored after check out until we left Paris later in the day. Although the area could be described as 'lively', my daughter and I felt perfectly safe. For a hotel in central Paris, the price was extremely good and everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay again.

The rooms and the bathrooms are very, very small and it is difficult to open the windows with the bed in the way! Also, the hotel is noisy with doors slamming shut thorough the morning and night. Perhaps soft close doors to each room would be better?

Great location and a nice quality bed with a powerful and warm shower! Perfectly functional if you are treating the hotel purely as a place to sleep at the end of the day!

The room is tight for space, and the bathroom even more so. I actually wondered how the cleaning staff were able to clean in such tight quarters. The hotel did not allow eating in the room which was a surprise and would have been a problem if we were staying more than one night. (I assume the no eating policy is for cleanliness.) This hotel was a great value and worked well for us for a one-night stay while passing through. However, I probably wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

Location was right across from Gare Montparnasse. Perfect for an early morning departure. The hotel has clearly been updated. It was very, very modest with few amenities but functional and very clean. Although a small hotel, it had a 24-hour front desk. It was very basic, but perfect for our needs.

A fan in the room would have been good as it was a warm night and maybe a facility to make tea and coffee. Up lots of stairs to our room and no lift.

Very central - only 5 minutes walk to Gare Montparnasse but really quiet despite being in a busy area. Room very clean with really comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful.

There is no soundproofing and you can hear everything from the hallway. I wore earplugs and didn’t have any trouble sleeping.

Rooms are small but recently renovated, clean and comfortable. There’s someone at the front desk 24h/j where you leave your key.

Bathroom/toilet is really small with no holder for soap or toothbrush, not by the sink nor in the shower. Floor could be a bit cleaner.

There was no air conditioning in the room and it was extremely hot and due to the noise from the street it was not comfortable at all sleep with the window open. And there was no iron in the hotel.

Everything was very new in the room And very clean. and the staff are very polite and helpful.
