So great to have a clean, stylish, safe and economical hotel close to the Nice train station. The interior design of the hotel is quite nice and makes the most of small spaces. Very pleasant courtyard with citrus trees and comfortable seating.

The staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful. The rooms were larger than we expected and the shower was superb. It was in a great location near the train station but just a short walk to the old town and promenade des Anglais.

the insulation was very poor and could hear the conversation from the next room. teas and coffees were not adequate. I have to go down stairs to make coffee.

Noises can be heard quite strongly from one room to another, especially if your room is located next to the entrance. No fridge in the room No slippers

Sandra and the team made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond and really looked after us for our honeymoon. The setting of the hotel is also absolutely gorgeous. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. They went above and beyond what was needed even when we had issues that were not related to the hotel in any way. Would rate them 20 out of 10 if possible. The room was also great quality and well worth the price.

We liked so many things about this place, like the inner garden with the orange trees, and the typical southern decoration designed in such a way that it felt modern and vintage at the same time. The room was really big (I do believe we were kindly upgrade to a Deluxe or Superior room), and the common areas had such cute and purposeful little corners with a mix of useful items and art. I would really recommend staying there when coming to Nice, we will definitely keep it in mind. Not just for the amazing location, but mainly for the design and beauty of the place.

Street signage looks a bit shabby.

Proximity to train station and easy walk to tourist areas. I liked that it was in a residential type neighbourhood so was not too touristy.

Everything was wonderful

The location is perfect if you are travelling by train -just 5 mins from the station. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard garden. Breakfast is wondrous! All home cooked with delicious healthy ingredients. Excellent conversations about ingredients and recipes.

A fan would have been nice since the AC wasn't on. Didn't need to cool the room as temperatures were in the 60s F.

Friendly welcome at reception. Both Sandra and Julie communicated well and offered their help. Quiet, spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed. Great shower with terrific orange/cinnamon liquid soap and honey shampoo in eco-friendly refillable containers attached to shower stall. Nice to have tea and coffee, filtered water and an electric kettle in our room. Also available in the lounge area. We didn't take the buffet breakfast but good smells wafted from the kitchen. Also liked the location so close to the train station but safe and not in a sketchy area. We had a 7AM train to catch.

There were some bees came in when we opened the window at day time. And the door of washroom was broken. But they are all ok! I still love maison durante.

I love the garden and the view of maison durante. The position is good as well. I will recommend this to the whole world. The days with maison durante is excellent!

This is a lovely, beautifully decorated hotel right next to the main train station in Nice. You can really tell that a lot of thought and eye for detail went into making sure everything is perfect and looks good - the decoration, the amenities, the coffee, the breakfast, the check-in, etc. The shower is top notch ! :-D The staff in the hotel went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly during my stay. They were extremely friendly and helpful and reactive to my requests. I encountered some issues during my trip (not related to the stay at the hotel), and the hotel staff really did their best to help me ! I have rarely met staff that was so dedicated to catering to their guests' needs. The breakfast is very nice, with lots of homemade products !
