A quiet, tranquil hotel, with true provencal charm. Staff were efficient and friendly. Beds were wonderfully firm. Petit dejeuner was excellent. The hotel is exceptionally clean, very reassuring in this era. ,

A little hand sink in the toilet area would be nice although I know this is not easy to add.

Excellent spot for easily visiting Arles. Clean, comfortable and really enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful little patios to enjoy in the sun.

Tiny mosquitos (we call them no-see-ums or midges in Wisconsin, I was calling them 'petits moustiques') - the window was left open by housekeeping so the little biters came in and drove me crazy.

The staff here is so friendly. They immediately made me feel at home. They were happy to help me practice speaking in clumsy French, but switched to English when I got lost. The breakfast was wonderful and varied: I enjoyed on different days hardboiled eggs, yogurt and fruit, croissant with cheese and cold cuts (very good croissants), and lots of coffee every day. The location is great for checking out Arles, and easy to walk to all the museums and Roman sites. The area felt very safe. Lots of amazing restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

Would have been nice to have an electric teakettle in the room. Of course, there is no elevator.

The hotel is a clever remodel of an extremely old building passed down from the last generation. The charming courtyard is a great place to relax and the breakfast was excellent. Fabulous location.

The WC was separate from the shower and washbasin. That was fine. However, when a person sat down in the WC, her knees touched the door. To stand, the door had to be opened. Not very private.

The ONLY thing: There were no coffee making facilities within the room.

Extremely characterful with features dating way back into the 16th century (if not before) and very well located for exploring the Roman remains and the medieval streets. Additionally the staff were extremely helpful and my room was always spotlessly clean.

The site says parking is available but it wasn't through the hotel and it is rather complicated to access public parking close to the hotel. Even though I messaged the hotel the day before arriving I was not told that there are restrictions to the usual access routes most of the day and night and that you need to call the hotel first to be able to enter the pedestrian only zone. Finding a parking spot was very haphazard the first evening and we had to drag our cases a huge distance. And worry about making sure the meeting was kept topped up during our stay. Parking all day would cost an extra 40 euros a day and the car may be left in a rather insecure place. Had we known we might have chosen somewhere else to stay, even though everything else went really well. Better information on this point should be made available to guests in advance, in our opinion.

promo seemed to indicate parking but it was a few block away and for a fee from 9:00-19:00, but easy enough to get to.

More signage and information in English about breakfast, hotel policies, passes for museums. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for people with mobility problems; there are a lot of stairs.

Great location, in easy walking distance from the many beautiful sites in Arles. Parking (both pay and free) are within walking distance as well. The room was small but nice, overlooking the central terrace. Breakfasts were a good value, with a variety of baked goods, cereals, boiled eggs and canned fruit.
