Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Statesthe toilet, it doesn't have enough water to flush it down the drain, had to flush about 2-3 times, room is a not big enough but I guess that is normal in Paris, for the shower , it doesnt have a curtain to prevent water splashing to the floor.
Breakfast was great, staff were very accommodating and helpful, place is quiet, safe and Eiffel Tower was 15 minutes walk, I would love to come back and stay here.

United Statesfront desk staff at check-in was not present. waited some time. we were very tired from traveling and eventually called the hotel that must have gotten his attention. then asked about where to eat. he was very vague and now knowing the area, i would recommend a little map of the area with restaurants marked. we were so much closer than we realized because we didn't get much help. Checking out staff, woman, was very kind and friendly
