We were recommended the restaurant for an evening meal by a local shop owner and reading reviews online. 3 of the 6 ordered the Lentil & Tofu Curry, it was totally disappointing, lacking in flavour and not a substantial main course meal. The 3 who had the cod dish - excellent.

- No milk for tea in room. No Breskfat te bags. No fridge. Only 1 chair to sit on in room. Bedside table too small and not close to bed, Plug point not available above table.

Breakfast today was sparse with little bread and no pastries so they had to be cooked and it took a while. Only one person on the service and it was very busy up until 10 am… but everyone very helpful.

Beautiful location and splendid views from bedroom over the Lake .. Great room and facilities with a Spa and excellent restaurant and food. Great welcome by all staff wherever we went.

The restaurant menu was very limited and my food was not very nice. Breakfast was all over the place with things laid out in different rooms. Some things (like the scrambled eggs) were not refilled although we were not late for breakfast so shoud have been given the same choice as everyone else.

We had a room with a big balcony overlooking the lake which was lovely. Free off street parking

First arrival in a car is a little confusing but when you’ve done it once it’s easy.

Brilliant ! Superb hotel. The staff are fantastic. The town is interesting and lively. A real gem, a real find ! Loved it !

I’m just Knit Picking. When you check in, you initially are drawn to the small parking lot at the front of the hotel. You need check in first, in order to get your parking pass code to access the private parking lot at the back of the hotel. Parking at the front is tight so if you’re able park on the street in front of the hotel, you may find it easier. If however, you’re a blue badge holder, I’d suggest you advise the hotel in advance as parking at the front is limited. Once you have your code there is a large car park at the back which you access following the directions given.

The location is beautiful. It is also located near many shops, bars and restaurants.

Didn't get chance to use sauna or hammam on first day as they are both quite small and they were full. It would also be good to put a timer on the jacuzzi so that more people can use it (people tended to just sit in it chatting for a long time without realising other people were waiting for someone to get out)

Lovely staff. Hotel very clean and cosy. Nice room overlooking the lake. Brilliant location just by the lake. It was also nice to have tea and coffee in the room (not so common in France)

They got our restaurant booking wrong. A waiter got our order wrong 3 times. The room was a bit on the cold side. We turned the thermostat as high as it would go 22. But it didn't seem to work

The pool. Jacuzzi. Steam room and sauna were lovely clean and quiet.. Bagnole de l'Orne is a wonderful place
