Rooms very stuffy in the height of the Summer as portable air conditioning unit too noisey to use although adequate at other times for cooling. Awoken by local church bells at 7 am on a Saturday ! Not what I was looking forward to after just a few hours sleep, so well over priced for my wife and I personally, unfortunate as it was supposed to be a special birthday treat for her and her retirement from work after 44 years as an NHS nurse in the UK

Food was delicious but small and pretencious proportions for a set meal. Rooms spacious but very tierd and in much need of maintainence. Just tinkering on it's three star status in my humble opinion.

Room ; Wc separate from bathroom. Bathroom could do with a chair to aid the less mobile. It took ages to order a drink in the bar as receptionist was busy checking in new guests. Restaurant located away from main building- and it was raining!

The location of the hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere. There are no shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The restaurant offers plate menus but the quality of the food was below French standards. We stayed for 3 nights and the menu did not change, limiting the options.

Very nice place with spa and restaurant and ample parking space. Thanks to very friendly staff we got a free upgrade to a nice and spacious room.

Bedroom and corridor very cold when we arrived on a cool evening, but it didn’t take too long to heat. Water pressure too poor for a satisfactory shower.

Well maintained beautiful old building in extensive grounds. Reasonably priced restaurant serving imaginative and tasty dishes. Plentiful beakfast. Spa facilities included in overnight rate.

I think that we may have been unlucky and had a room which was on the top floor called The Austrian Room. it was quite dark and warm up there, but having said that we came to terms with it and enjoyed our stay.

Maybe not the best hotel to be with small children since there are not a lot op options for them. But personel are very flexible to try to acommodate them.

Our cottage was overlooking the restaurant terrace, so when windows were open there was low level noise at night and early in the morning. Minor complaint in the scheme of things.

Peaceful, comfortable country retreat. Great base to explore the Loire region - close to Amboise and Blois, but far enough away to escape the crowds. Good value.

Some of the jets were not working in the swimming pool, which was disappointing.

Each room is themed for different places - we stayed in Bali. It was a large room which had disabled facilities and parking outside the room. (Didn't request for disabled facilities but wasn't a problem). The spa facilities are booked by the hour and were booked on arrival along with our evening dinner time. If you want a particular time I would phone ahead as you may not get a choice.

Can’t think of anything. Except not being able to enjoy more of it.

Our stay was too short for a good review: we just stayed 1 night on our way to our final destination. But reception was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and tidy. They had even put some rose pedals on it, as we were on our honeymoon. We didn’t enjoy breakfast, as we left very early. But late check in and early departure was no problem at all. Very flexible staff. And the main building looked amazing!

The spa and pool are very tired. Pool liner needs replacing desperately. Courtyard lights remain on all night which made it difficult to sleep. There was a dirty cover on the bed on arrival.

This hotel looked beautiful and has a lovely garden. Great in the sunshine.

The room was extreme small. The pictures do not give the right impression of what you are going to book. The place has nothing to offer in the surrounding. The small window did not give enough daylight. it was disappointing that although the rooms downstairs were empty they did not give us that bigger room.

We liked the bed it was soft nice and comfortable. Parking in front of the room was as well nice. and easy to bring your luggage. the small sofa was nice. The wifi was nice and fast and without a code.
