Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesIt was a tiny room, but pretty typical for France. Sink & Bathtub/shower room was spacious and “toilet room” was too and helped “open up” the feeling of the tiny bedroom.

United KingdomThe staff at the reception could benefit from some customer service training. The female receptionist who was there as we arrived asked us to pay for accommodation up front and also a warranty for the room. I can understand that you need to provide a card at the start of your stay but demanding payment up front and extra warranty felt unnecessary, also when I ask why the response was it is how is done just in case we forget to pay for something. It is a shame they do not know how to make you feel welcome. At breakfast there was only one member of staff who tried his best however he could not do everything such as replenish stuff, take people to tables, take orders for hot drinks and bring drinks to the table. We had our coffee brought to us after we finished breakfast and we did not have any hot food as there was none left and not replenished for the duration of our breakfast. Again, a shame really as the hotel has a luxury feel, not helped by the customer service and staffing level for breakfast.
This is a beautiful hotel, lovely presentation, clean and comfortable, and also in a very good location.

Rooms are very stylish and modern as is the whole hotel. Location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bordeaux. Very close to a tram stop, with one change you can go to the airport and in the other direction go to St Jean railway station and visit the elegant coastal town of Arcachon.

The service was excellent. I stayed with my daughter. First we had a room that was attached to another room with very noisy neighbors. When we told Aldo of the front desk he immediately made arrangements and upgraded us to a quiet room on another floor. He made our stay! Great room, good beds. clean, nice view of the city.

An excellent location, close enough to walk to everything with easy access to the tram. All of our interactions with the staff whether in reception or at breakfast were great, a really friendly and helpful team. Our rooms on the second floor were very comfortable and nicely presented. Breakfast was good, as mentioned the team were great and they offered fresh orange juice, bread and a good buffet selection. We didn't have an opportunity to use the Spa facilities. We were lucky to have great weather so the outside seating area was a real sun trap in the late afternoon after a long day sight seeing.
