The BATHROOM, the bath was hard to get in and out of.

Bath tub was hazardous...water went everywhere. A serious slip hazard for old people. Not enough outlets.

The breakfast (on the bank holiday so they may have been short staffed to be fair) was chaotic, very limited, with no fruit and only the scrapings of the scrambled egg tray. We had to ask for a hot drink more than once and had no chance of a second (pity they didn't have a self service facility). Then we couldn't find any spoons so I rooted about and found some in a drawer! After this experience we went up the road to a bakery for breakfast each day.

The location was perfect for exploring Bordeaux. Our room was clean though the second day they didn't replace the water so we bought a bottle just to find out that they did replace it the next day! The reception staff were very helpful with excellent English.

I would prefer to have coffee Nespresso machine in the room!

The location could not be better. Close to Tram and within walking of many restaurants, churches, museums and monuments. The staff is great. So helpful and good natured.

Nothing not to like!

Hotel de Sèze is excellent. Staff is always friendly, happy, and extremely helpful. Close to all, easy access to Tram and shopping. Rooms are charming, exceptionally clean, and depict Bordeaux perfectly. We stay there often. Perfect place to stop after a long flight.

Staff are dull and maybe insecure. With such a beautiful hotel, I don't understand why they can't just be a little cheerier & simply say 'Bonjour'. We travel a lot and see so many cheery faces at check in desks or serving in hotel restaurants, but this one seemed sad. The cheeriest face was the cleaner in the hallway (special thank you to her for our clean rooms).

Beautiful hotel with updated classic charm. All perfectly clean with comfortable beds. Nice breakfast spread. However even with breakfast all out and ready, the staff can't be bothered turning lights on in restaurant until they're finished doing room service breakfast - almost ran us (plus 2 or 3 other couples waiting) late for flight. Left with a bitter note after loving the hotel itself.

More control of the air con, the room was quite warm.

The location was excellent, so central to a lot of the main attractions and the city centre. The room was comfy and the staff were helpful. I would definitely stay again!

Restaurant felt a little “cold” at night. Not warm and friendly. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but would have done had it been more cosy.

The Spa and Fitness are a bit oversold!

The location is excellent, close to public transport, walking distance to so many restaurants, bars and attractions. Nice clean comfy rooms.

The breakfast buffet was a little crowded at times and so the staff could not keep up with coffee orders.

Breakfast. Scrambled eggs ran out and told it would be 15 minute wait for more. Had to point out that from age blanc and fruit salad had run out.

I would have preferred a room on a higher floor, as we could hear people speaking outside. The bathtub is very deep and a bit of a hazard to get in and out of. The room was also quite small, but we had booked one of the cheaper rooms.

The hotel is in a great central location. Very clean, rooms well appointed. We loved the heated floors in the bathroom. We appreciated the slippers and robes. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so cannot provide a review on that.

There was no lock on the inside of the door - I’ve never experienced this in a hotel before and would have preferred to be able to lock myself in at night.

the noise of the area at night and missing hangers for winter coats. At entrance of the room they should place a hanger for the coats
