Hotel door shut at 9pm. lovely bars near location to sup in but curfew a bit early. Had to return before we wanted to but time to read a few passages from the bible but we watched the england v serbia game on a television in the room with a few beers instead.

receptionist was very helpful and spoke english very well. the breakfast spread was very extensive but the only problem was to work out how to get get boiling water for a cup of tea. Answer was stick warm water in the cup and stick it in the microwave. Simples. cathedral car park was a 3 minute walk and cost 14 euros. beds really comfortable and room was very quiet. cathedral was a stones throw away. a hotel in a very old building, decor and carpet dated and could do with a sympathetic makeover. Shower/bath in room clean and tidy with towels provided. tea making facility in room too.

The room is quite old and needs some renovation. Especially the bathroom.

The location is perfect. Super soft and huge bed! It was very calm and no sounds from the street.

We had to unload luggage at the end of the street 25 m away in the rain -

We liked being close to the cathedral in a quaint little street - the breakfast was excellent gluten free bread was available too - there was a lift which was greatly appreciated.

The WiFi was not great in the room we were in. Registration on my iPhone was required every time I closed the browser.

This is quite an old building with the associated quirks. Stairs to the 3rd floor a challenge with luggage and after a long day exploring. There was apparently a roof terrace never explained and which we only noticed on checking out. Staff could do better.

Location, location!! But no real view.

Only downside is parking which is three blocks away in a secure underground car park. Hotel is in a pedestrianised central location so pack light and walking from the car park with luggage won’t be such a trial!

Ample breakfast with good choice. Very fresh pastries. Excellent location for seeing the beautiful sites of Rouen.

Bathroom was very dated. Lighting not great in bathroom either. Room generally a bit tired. Tea and coffee facilities bit lacking - don’t like paper cups.

Location was excellent and the man on reception was attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced. Plenty of towels and some toiletries.

Our room didn’t have cable TV nor internet. We felt little bit cheated since it said it did but didn’t want to make a fuss.

A rare experience of staying in a historical monument. Location of the hotel is incredible. Bed is comfortable.

Closing doors at nine was okay for safety but if you want a night out then maybe a way of coming in till 11pm?

The old world charm found only in historical buildings. The hotel was opposite the beautiful cathedral. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by, the hotel is nestled amongst the Tudor buildings. Lots for breakfast to choose from. Fresh juice to squeeze was a nice touch. Great location and cosy inside. The receptionist was a great at multitasking and made me feel welcome in spite of my limited francais..

Very hard to find parking nearby. The city car park within a 5-10 walk was quite expensive but certainly not the fault of the hotel given the age of the building and location

Perfect location right in the centre of the old part of the city. We stayed as a family on the 3rd floor and had a queen sized bed and double bunk. Our Room was fine for a one night stay like ours, however could be a little tight if travelling with a family for an extended period. Building is from the 16th century and the room had an old charm vibe which we enjoyed, so don’t expect modern facilities but dont let that put you off. The beds were very comfortable, water was hot, room was warm and we enjoyed our stay. Restaurants and supermarkets within a very short walk and surrounded by interesting gothic and medieval architecture. Would stay again and recommend to others.

It was in a beautiful, historical location very near the cathedral. It was a wonderful old building with a very attractive courtyard and a gorgeous breakfast room - the breakfasts were huge and superb. The staff were very nice and there was good information available at the hotel about the locality and local events, etc. The room though not big was very comfortable and clean.
