Absolutely stunning guest house, really well decorated and clean. Really comfortable bed and tasty breakfast. The host couldn’t have been more helpful - explaining the parking and helping with carrying bags. Be warned there are stairs which is to be expected but if you have difficulties with that then this isn’t the place for you. Location is perfect for strolling around Metz.

well, finding the place is a bit of a challenge since local authorities don't allow a bigger sign to indicate the entrance to the hotel - but Google gets you to the address and there is a well enough visible sign indicating the hotel entrance

Nothing other than could have done with maybe fresh milk at breakfast and a kettle/milk in the room. Only a suggestion and not a negative.

Beautiful property and room. We were away for over a week in France,Switzerland and Italy and was the best overnight stay of the whole holiday. Hosts were lovely as was the breakfast.

Centrally located with a Christmas Market steps away, this property is unique and grand! The rooms felt palatial yet comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was delicious complete with homemade croissants, and the hosts were gracious and kind.

I loved everything, I can't think of a single thing I didn't like.

I felt pure delight being in my room at Hotel de Fouquet! The designs, the colors, the details — true artistry. And it was also super comfortable, clean, quiet, and in a great central location. Great shower, amazing wood floors that I couldn't stop looking at, and golden sunshine in the morning. I loved climbing the spiral staircase and unlocking the doors with real keys. And having Netflix in the room was fantastic. The hosts were attentive, kind, and had great energy. Breakfast felt absolutely sumptuous: delicious yogurt with a selection of dried fruits, nuts, and granola; fresh baguettes with a selection of cheeses, meats, and jams; croissants; fruit; eggs; freshly-squeezed orange juice and coffee; and a lot more that I'm probably forgetting. All served with the prettiest glassware and silverware! The whole experience was so beautiful that it made me feel more beautiful, just being there.

I can’t think of a thing the host and hostess were gracious and kind. When we were unable to book a taxi to the dock where we had to meet our river barge the host drove us himself in his own vehicle.
