Evreything was great!

Spacious & beautiful apartment located in the very center of Caen. Very quiet neighborhood. Perfect place to relax after the long days of exploring Normandy. The place is filled with nice books you can explore while relaxing at the apartment. Enough space for 4 adults (one bedroom and living room). Our host Salome was very attentive, we had very early check out and she postponed our baguette delivery so we could have breakfast before we go. I love the design of the living room at the main entrance. We"ve stayed only one night, but it was great!

My only observation would be that there are a lot of stairs to the top apartment, but worth it when you get there!

Breakfast was simple but pleasurable, baguette and croissant. Maybe some more milk for a second coffee would have been nice.

Lovely apartment close to the centre of Caen. We received a warm welcome and we given lots of advice about the local restaurants. The apartment was well supplied with food and a,e items and Great breakfast was purchased tans delivered fresh in the mo.

Bread delivery was a nice bonus! I knew people had bread boxes for delivery, but I never experienced it. The apartment was comfortable and cozy, and well-decorated.

Best place to stay in Caen, by far. I visit Caen regularly to see family. Over time, I’ve stayed in each of the three apartments: all very tastefully decorated and comfortable, an experience of French charm and taste (the owner is an interior decorator, designer, and writes cookbooks as well, the epitome of French flair). Maybe the top floor apartment should be avoided by the elderly as it’s 3 flights of stairs and a little quirky, although quite delightful and benefitting from a small terrace. The location could not be better, within a few yards of the central Place St Sauveur and in the middle of the old town - restaurants, cafes, multiple bookshops (both new and secondhand) nearby (for French reading bibliophiles, English books are scarce), etc… Reception is arranged by lovely Salomé who always goes out of her way to accommodate our needs and provide information.

The bathroom was rather small for 3 adults for a week - but the shower was nice.

The apartment was great, very special style and very cozy. Also very centrally located. Great service in the morning with baguette and croissants, extremely friendly staff. The couch bed was also very comfy. We would definitely come back.

My only caution is that it is close to a bar that remains open until very late on the weekends, so be sure to bring some earplugs if you plan to stay at that time.

This was my favorite place out of four that we stayed in France. The host was amazing and very accommodating. The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, well maintained, and in a great location. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to all.

My only real issue is another comfortable armchair in the living area would be a benefit, although there are two, one is very contemporary and although reasonably comfortable people of my age struggle to get out of it

The location was excellent right in the centre of town. Fresh bread delivered for breakfast every morning. Although we ate out the facilities were excellent for self catering. Salome who met us to hand over the keys was superb pointing out the issues concerning parking on the day of our arrival and keeping us updated until our arrival. She was an excellent reference point for restaurants etc.

Breakfast was good - fresh baguette and croissants provided . Milk, butter,, jam and juice provided in the fridge. Bed was really comfy & nice lounge area = lots of light for reading . Nice view over the courtyard.

Loved the bread drop off for breakfast and butter, jam, tea, and coffee in room. Salomé was wonderfully helpful with directions for parking and recommendations and reservations for dinner. She really made the stay super pleasant. Many restaurants and shopping nearby.

for safety for seniors like myself. 1) a hand rail on the stair case would be awesome 2) the one inch step up between the living room and bedroom is dangerous.. I tripped on it once. It's just not visible. If not changed to to the same level, at least marking it with paint or a light strip would prevent accidents.

The breakfast was ok.. Getting the baguette each morning was great.

There are no lifts in the apartment and this isn't a complaint as it's already stated in the description. Just a warning for those who has heavy luggage! Be prepared to climb. No parking onsite too (which is also stated) but for those of you who don't read the description, you are welcome for this note

Place was nicely decorated and very well maintained! From the deco to the soft furnishing, everything just screams out HOMELY to its guests! I love the mood lighting too. Amenities wise, it has everything you need - from cooking to washing to chilling. Every morning, fresh baguette is delivered to your doorstep too (although there was one day the bakery dropped the ball and forgot to deliver - hence no fault on the accom's end!) Salomé was the one receiving us when we reached and she is so nice! She even helped to book restaurants and suggested places for us to go. She didn't have to do all these but she still did and that's really really awesome as it helps us to ease into our vacation easily. :)
