Really good holiday in a great location

The only minor issue was signage to the property. Google maps seemed to indicate the property was on a back road whereas it was at the side of the main road. Had the sign at the front of the property been clearer we would have found it much easier

Nice property in a quiet location close to the village. Facilities were good

A very cosy and comfy chalet for active families

The kitchen is somewhat tiny, but with some logistical adjustments we could easily work around it. The road from and to Switzerland can be somewhat busy. But the windows are well-isolated and there’s a distance of approx. 200 m to this road, so you won’t hear it from the inside.

We’ve loved our stay in this carefully arranged and cosy family chalet at the entry point of Argentière village. It is situated close to several hiking routes and skiing facilities, 7 minutes walk up to Argentière’s historic village centre with train station, supermarket, restaurants, farmacy etc. It is on the lower bit of the village, next to Hotel du Randonneur, just before a left turn to the roundabout leading to Chamonix. The owners really thought through what people would need to have a comfy and cosy stay and also thought about practicalities for active families (including tour guides). The chalet has a lovely garden with nice garden furniture and some view on the Mont Blanc. Hikers will find easy access to several hiking routes, one easy route to Chamonix almost right behind the chalet (Petit Balcon). The kitchen is indeed tiny, but we had all we needed for a family with three teenagers - including oven and microwave. It might be too tiny for groups, but I would say that the chalet is designed for active families or couples who want a cosy and comfy stay and enjoy nature anyway. The cosy eating corner looks out on the Argentière glacier and the Lognan pistes, which are closeby. This chalet is a split-level construction. When you come out of the garage (basement), turn to the left into an entryway for two chalets, and take the right one. You will find an open living room with kitchen and eating corner, a 3 person bedroom, a bathroom, an extra toilet, a cabinet with microwave, vacuum cleaner etc. and a built-in cupboard for ski’s, shoes, hiking sticks etc. Downstairs in the souterrain you will find 2 lovely and large bedrooms and a modern bathroom with washing machine. The windows in the bedrooms can be easily opened.

Overall the stay was a great experience, from the initial booking to the restitution of the keys !

Finding a place to park a second car was a little bit of a challenge.

The chalet is cozy and well equipped. It was matching very well with its description and provided pictures. The location proved being better than what it looked a priori. There are many walking paths around and even a way to go to Chamonix by walking with a bus stop close by.

Wasn’t clean on arrival, smashed lantern on decking, rugs/blankets in lounge all dirty. This isn’t a reflection on the owners. It’s the management companies issue.

Beautiful chalet! Loved our stay apart from a few minor issues
