Bar was very expensive. My meal was terrible. My main course was steak. Asked for medium came out raw no taste dry the worst steak I've ever had. I should have sent it back, but I was too tired to argue or wait for another. I would stop at the hotel but never eat there again.

We were disturbed throughout the night by music coming from the speakers on the terrace it was being played all night long. Our window was open as the room if closed was a bit too hot for us even though we turned the air conditioning down as far as it would go. We did let the hotel know the following morning and the receptionist made a note of it. This is the 4th time we have stayed and obviously we will stay again in the past it has been exceptionally quite and this is the first time staying in that room we have had the problem.

All staff were excellent. The restaurant was very good, the bar area is comfortable and we were very well looked after. Breakfast is very good Ander bonus of underground parking as it was raining very hard.

Only dislike was the annoying lighting near tea making facilities which was motion controlled but didn't remain on long enough.

Polite & friendly on reception. Lovely, comfortable spacious room at the back of hotel with views of the château & garden. Despite ongoing renovation our room was quiet. The workers respectful to guests. Water & tea making facilities adjacent to room & separate toilet from bathroom. Exceptionally clean. We would like to return again to try out the spa facilities after completion of the renovations.

The evening meal was terrible, I have stayed here two times before and the food was wonderful! But on this occasion it was dreadful. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you

The restaurant and bar are very limited in both choice and comfort level, expected a better menu from a hotel like this.

The rooms are spoacious and comfortable with a good shower and planty of free parking.

We were disappointed by the quality of the restaurant that seems to decline a little bit (we came two times before and it used to be amazing). Very bad organisation for breakfast, not enough food when everyone arrived at pretty much the same time and veeery slow to bring some more.

Restaurant closed. Good staff but too few of them. No barman etc. Tes, when we left on Monday morning the hotel was teeming with clerical staff - c'est so French!

Rather characterless. Very corporate. The net curtains needed to be cleaned. Advertised as having a restaurant but doesn't which is just as well judging by the breakfast as on the first day I had the WORST scrambled eggs I've ever had. Rubbery, dry, tasteless and like nuggets of cardboard. The second day they were only the second worst ever. Staff at breakfast made no attempt to meet and greet or interact. In fact the first day we couldn't even find a properly set table. The fruit salad was not good and very little choice of fresh fruit - in a country that produces lots we were offered imported dry oranges. Not good enough.

Room was large and quite comfortable. Bathroom was exceptional. Kettle provided but no coffee machine. Bath robes available. Check in and out efficient. Location close to the castle excellent. Nice bar and friendly barman. We didn't use the spa so cannot comment. Wifi worked well.

On arrival we were told that the bar stayed open till midnight. Bar times are clearly displayed in the lifts. This has been for the last three years our last night of an annual motorcycle trip, before heading up to Calais. There were ten of us and we ate out in the town. We returned to the hotel at 11.20 and were told that the bar was shut. Two staff were behind the bar. One told us that they were not bar staff even though he had served us all drinks on arrival. Poor show.

After a nine hour drive we could not get any food from the Hotel. Had was to search locally. Breakfast not good for the price.

Breakfast was too expensive, I wasn’t feeling well and my husband brought two croissant, a yoghurt and tea in our room and they charged 15£ ,for each of us, for that which was quite disappointing.

Our room was really nice, spacious, quiet and confortable. The hotel is in the middle of a cute village with a beautiful castle. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They forgot to let us know room service wasn’t available during our stay but when we arrived the receptionist gave us a list of restaurant we could go to which we really appreciated. Thanks to that we had the best meal in “le soleil” restaurant which was 3min walk away from the hotel.

most of the staff at the reception desk speaks only french. few are speaking good english. Some years ago it was even possible to converse in German.

Not much not to like.

the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The pool was a nice size, just a shame that the Hammam was out of commission at the time we attended. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was just a few minutes walk away from a lovely castle and the centre of the village.

Very quiet, no atmosphere. Rooms lovely but no fridge (it was 35 degrees) and no milk for the tea and coffee. Not sure if the restaurant was open so ate out, pool and spa no one around. “Hot breakfast” was cold
