The pool and pool area were closed although it was advertised to close on 30 September. We were told this was due to poor weather in previously weeks.

I chose it because of the location and POOL. The pool shut the day before I arrived which was a real disappointment. I was unaware of this and could have paid less for a hotel without a pool. It was a warm, bright day and so was I was really looking forward to a swim. So very disappointed in that.

Very convenient for Le Cité. Felt safe for a lone woman. Friendly staff. Well kept garden. Stylish rooms. Lovely view. Quiet.

Didn’t like that guests were walking past the large glass doors & can see into the room. Need more charging points for electric cars only, not hybrid.

the swimming pool was closed due to rain the week before, and said they had not cleaned it. They should have checked weather it was fine while I was there. The paper cups were too small and eventually leaked. No teaspoons provided with wooden sticks.

I liked they provided with free water.

Dry closely located to the old city, very reachable in walking distance. It was also quiet environment despite being so close. The staff were friendly, most spoke English. The restaurant was amazing and the breakfast catered for many nationalities.

Food in the restaurant was average but you have plenty of options around.

Really well run family hotel close to the main attractions. Relaxed and friendly. Staff were fantastic. If you’re travelling to Carcassonne with children this is a great place to stay. On site parking a bonus.

Breakfast was good, but not great, and set up in a bit of a chaotic setting. They had some gluten free options for my husband, who is intolerant, which was a plus.

The room was just as expected, and quite spatious for a family of 4. I think the access to the rooms could be better, but surely they have more accessible rooms for people with disabilities - we had to go through small flights of stairs to get there. We used the pool, which was great because it was sweltering! A bonus point for the hotel is that it provides glass bottles for us to fill with our water, from a free fountain at the reception. Great for sustainability!

Pleasant hotel, very well located next to the Medieval area. The facilities are nice and it was nice to enjoy the pool and green area so overall recommended. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel and ventured into the city for this as well as for the other meals. It is a fair walk from the train station and public transport is limited to get to and from there or into the new part of town. The staff were fine, the lady at the check out was very nice. Just for improvement, the towels and lounge chairs were limited at the pool but this is only a small thing. Also the staff didn’t really know about the bus to the airport and where the stop was which would generally be something you would expect they could help with.

The smell of dog in the corridors was not good and the cost of breakfast was quite expensive.
