the kitchen was too small to cook anything. the price was high, not the price of the camping place, but rather for a hotel...

the staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was excellenet. the room was big enough for 5 of us, and comfortable. the hot water was really hot and i enjoyed taking shower! the kitchen with a window toward balcony table was very convenient.

There was only one big trash can in the kitchen and no trash can in the bathroom which was kind of impractical. There was no noise isolation. Although the accommodation offers enough space for 6 people, we think that it would be too small for 6 and that it is much more suitable for only 4 people.

The staff was polite and helpful, the towels and bedsheets were clean, although there was no thermal isolation, the heating worked well and we weren't cold. The city center is 20 minutes away by tramway.

Great alternative accommodation to a hotel to visit Strasbourg.

Having to clean your own mobile home. Although this would usually be an issue we found it a bit of a pain as we were only staying for one night. With a 10am check out we found it tight for time. The 90 Euro deposit on arrival seems blasé. I was asked if I wanted to pay Cash or by card but was then told it would take upto 7 working days to get back (but we were only staying for one night so I didn't understand how you could pay with cash?). Also they don't check for damage on check out so you're at the mercy of the people checking for damage. I.e. if damage was caused by previous occupants but the site staff didn't notice until your inspection then you'd be paying for someone else's damage. We didn't have an issue, but can see potential problems with the system.

Great location, close to Strasbourg city centre but with the benefits of free parking and the facilities/activities on the campsite.

We had a cold snap and wanted to use the wood stove. No wood could be brought to us (we saw the wood pile in the back) this was disappointing.

Location was nice because it was tucked away from the city. Food prices were a little high at the restaurant for pizza. But tasty and convenient

I did not like the phone call late in the evening the day before our arrival, trying to force us to bring our own bedding.... when I said that in that case it would be nice to get a discount, they somehow found bedding for us. Strange...

Nice campsite but a little noisy due to the location

    • Stayed 6 nights

The tents are pitched on a small " island" surrounded by a small stream. There are consequently lots of mosquitos. They are also pitched right next to the train line/main road and a sports field, so it can be very noisy, it may have been better to move the tents to the other side of the camp. The nearest toilets/showers and washing up facilities are a walk away, they should have another set near the tents. There wasn't an awful amount of cooking utensils in the tent, and we had to ask 3 times during 12 hours to get the gas changed. We also had to wait when we arrived early evening as the cannister was faulty, it took 2 attempts to get them to change it. We found the facilities quite new, and very stylish but not particularly clean. The shower tiles and units don't look like they've ever been cleaned, the mirrors are filthy and you can't see in them. It was a bit off putting to be honest. The reception closes at 8pm but you can check in until 11.30 pm which was causing problems, also, the restuarant didn't open on Monday or Tuesday night which may be inconvenient. We left early and despite being told there was a key box, we had to find the cleaner to hand the key back. Sometimes communication was a little off, they need to sort this.

The camp is very near the center of Strasbourg ( 4 tram stops) so it's easy to travel around. There is a small village within 10 mins walk with a supermarket etc, and a boulangerie, take aways and a small local restaurant just outside the entrance. There is also a cafe inside the campsite. The restaurant in the evenings is very good, and the staff are very friendly. The pool is small but very good. The camp site is very secure at night. The wooden chalets look lovely so we may try one of those next time. The campsite is very well planted and there's plenty to do for children. The staff speak English, French, German and Dutch.

The swimming pool was small for the amount of people using it so was crowded and full. To make the shower work I had to hold down the button for my entire shower which wasn't ideal.

The location of our pitch was excellent and there was plenty of entertainment for the children e.g. table tennis tables, beach volleyball pitch and swimming pool. Location was great as only a short walk from Lidl.

Small toilets and bathroom. We used the common toilets outside. No barbeque equipements provided( I was expecting this as mentioned in the details section). It's mentioned that check out time is 11 AM but the staff told me to check out by 10 AM. Bugs outside in the seating area (spiders and mosquito). Rats - which are not harmful grazing grass outside. Small rooms and bed. We reached there during summer (31° C ) so mobile homes are pretty much burning when we checked-in at 7:30PM.

Campsite experience. Once I updated my arrival time the property staff called me to confirm.

Minor point: At 10pm both nights there were some youths running around and screaming on the campground premise. Nothing terrible, but maybe a security guard would be needed.

Everything was exceptional, we loved it. We walked downtown, location is perfect.
