Excellently located in the old city in a historic building, minutes by foot to Place de la Comedie and Promenade de Peyroux, lots of restaurants, cafes and markets. Sparkling clean. Gracious and very responsive host.

It was very centrally located in Montpellier, accessible only on foot. Free parking in nearby parking garage was a big plus.

Sophie is a fantastic host, helpful and available. The apartment has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. It's in an impressive building, right in the pedestrian area of the center with many facilities around. Having a parking place is a nice bonus.

There were very few instructions for apartment functions, and incorrect information on WiFi. (We succeeded by experimenting with the codes for other floors.) The kitchen was only partially equipped, with few towels (and no paper towels) and no lids for the larger skillets and pots. The bathroom was nice, but the shower tended to drench the floor. We had access to keys for the main downstairs street door and our front door, but the street door had no lock installed so it seemed insecure. Many folks on the street below, many of whom were drinking, so we would have felt safer if the street door locked.

This apartment is in a very old building, but is updated nicely. The location was terrific for walking all through central Montpellier, just a short walk to the Comedie area, easy access to groceries and cafes. We liked the living area separated from the bedroom.

The location is very nice - in the middle of the historic centre. The apartment is super nice - everything is there. Parking is difficult - but was solved by letting us have a parking badge for the underground parking. Sophie is very nice. Since I speak French relatively ok, that works fine... but on the phone it's not as easy ;)

There is improperly installed structural bracing between entry level and 1st floor. Plus three very serious/dangerous trip hazards on stairway. I don't blame the host...Booking.com...should do a better job of disclosing any dangerous conditions...so you can make a well informed decision.

The building where the apartment is located is quite old and the conditions of the structure did not look good. the stairwell was full of construction supports, and during the night there was a constant noise of the wood of the door, floor and ceiling creaking. The cleaning of the apartment is not the best and the amount of towels provided per person is not enough (only one towel per person).

The location of the apartment is phenomenal. In addition, we made a mistake in booking and booked for 2 people only, when there were 3 of us, and Sophie let us stay, charging €20 for extra towels and bed linen.
