The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The bathroom was large with a spacious shower. shower gel etc provided along with good coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was delicious, so many options it was difficult to choose. stunning location, right on the lake.

GermanyAs a frequent traveller I have visited hundreds of hotels all over the world. Not sure how this hotel reached it‘s 4*-status. Dirty rooms & unpolite staff (greetings to the seater from the restaurant). We arrived around 8pm and wanted to visit the restaurant. Due to the fact that we travelled with our motorcycles we did not bring a tuxedo. Nevertheless, the restaurant was not crowded. 4-5 tables were occupied and the rest was available but the seater denied us the access to the restaurant. It seemed that we did not fulfill their dresscode which is not mentioned anywhere. Next point: English speaking staff should be obvious in a 4* hotel but no chance. Questions asked in English were answered in French. This is an absolute no-go.
Nice location at the Lake. Parking possibilities given.

LuxembourgAt the price for the Junior Suite there should have been at least a mini-bar as the beautiful bar in the hotel was already closed at 10 pm, a little vit early if you want to make money. Further at the breakfast Buffet only one person on service, a little bit of mess on a holiday day as well as Pandemic. In the afternoon no terrasse opened, and they do have a beautiful one. all others around were open, so we went to another one.
The location at the nice sea of gerardmer is really excellent and the old hotel has been refurbished over the last years. The Junior Suite was tall enough and the bed was for french uses ok.
