The bathroom had the smell of drains which went into the sleeping area.

The room was a very good size. The breakfast was good and the parking area was excellent. It was also located close to the centre.

The bed(s) in my double room (two beds) were uncomfortable (compared with my last 4 years of staying at this same hotel). The room was spacious, but weird layout, but that was probably due to the shape of room. one bed not v accessible and I tried both because the window bed was v uncomfortable for some reason. Room quite hot though air con worked OK. The room service was a bit intermittent - on the second to last day of service I only received two towels, and NO bath mat and there was no change for the final day. Despite me hanging my towels on the rails to denote I don't need them changed, they generally seemed to get changed. I noticed this at all hotels I've stayed at. I was here for 7 nights. When I checked out to pay on the final morning, the payment machine would not work. I returned to the hotel after lunch, and paid, as machine was fixed by then (had run out of paper) Lucky I wasn't in a hurry. ???

Breakfast is very good, but was better on the days when the hotel was busy. On the other days, there were less options available. I guess this is common sense, to maximise efficiency. New car park is excellent. The staff are great and very friendly. Location is perfect.

The trolley for used trays and dishes in the breakfast area was was already full when we got there at 7.30 am on a Sunday morning. Nobody cleared this while we were there despite various members of staff walking past it. It didn't give a good impression.

Good quiet location near to the centre, secure parking for €9, quiet room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was the usual Ibis fare. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The shower was over-bath which I am used to. I think some people would have difficulty to stand up within the narrow width of the bath. It could be unsafe for some people. At some point it would probably be a good idea to replace it with a simple shower cabin.

Friendly, professional welcome and check in at this well-located Ibis Styles. I upgraded my room via Booking.com. It was small but not cramped and was well set-out and equipped. Lighting was good. Good double glazing, sound proofing and heating/cooling. Bathroom looked new. All impeccably clean. Hotel is 100% non-smoking. Breakfast from 06:00 to 10:00 which accommodates most people. Good choice at breakfast: I found all my favourites and the special breads (cereals and dried fruit) were lovely. Self-serve hot drinks are available afternoon/evening in the reception area. Small bar; you can sit outside on the terrace area. You can order in-room pizzas via reception. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was no problem for the hotel to let me fill in some time after checkout waiting in the reception area before departing for my train. Moulins is a little jewel of a town with impressive museums and ancient architecture. It also has what seems to be an extraordinarily high ratio of pâtisseries and restaurants to head of population!

Car park has an unmade surface which is very difficult for motorcycles. The lockable garage for motorcycles was not useable as cars can park in front of the door. This was disappointing and could be easily rectified.
