Unfortunately the free wifi did not worked and there was a water pressure problem for the toilet flush. It did work properly but was just too slow. Anyway, with a little patience it was ok. Overall, no problems with the room

The location is perfect, just out of the motorway and easy for the Calais LeShuttle. There is a McDonalds by 100 mt so no problems for food. Room simple with a nice hot shower and the staff was very friendly and helped us with plugs adaptors and hair-dryer. Nice good breakfast. Bathroom and Blankets were clean.

Booked a family room for 4. Room was large enough for us and comfortable. Met our needs as a one night stop on our way to catch morning ferry.

There were no cooked breakfast options, but it is a budget hotel, which needs to be kept in mind.

It was what you expect from a B&B hotel, the benefit of this one is still very convenient for the Channel Tunnel, but located on the outskirts of Calais itself, so it is possible with a 20 minute walk to find a nice square with bars and a cathedral.

Nothing it was good. Staff were helpful and polite. No can't say I was disappointed in any way.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The last time was good but I believe they have had a refurb in recent times and it has upped their game. This place will be always be my second choice for my overnight stay in Calais but the other hotel is on the beach and has a restaurant.

Great hosts to help you with everything....even after reception 'closed'. Very neat and clean...small room but comfortable, great shower. Really good breakfast. Easy to catch bus or taxi. It exeeded my expectations as an overnight hotel....will be back on the return to Calais.

For international travellers do bear in mind you must have a working cellphone as the bedroom door code to access your room is sent via email and the booking.com app once you’ve checked in at the machine outside the front door, (and you can’t access the WiFi without that bedroom door code.)

Convenient 24hr checkin. Comfortable with good lighting. Quiet. Very clean. Strong shower. Appreciated the towels and duvet. Safe for female travellers

An excellent overnight stay, it's clean, it's near main road, it has self check in after desk working hours, no matter how late you arrive, tired after long drive, you have room ready and waiting. We are coming back to B&B stays whenever is possible.

One night stay at B&B Hotel (Calais) - not a good night's sleep for me

I wasn't able to get to sleep until past 2 o'clock in the morning thanks solely to a gentleman (whose face remains a mystery to me) in the room adjacent to mine who snored like a pig (probably all night). And I'm talking about deep, resonant snoring which started around 10 p.m., and just didn't stop. Ordinarily, I would've nodded off by 11 p.m. Therefore a bad night's sleep for me, and evidently a great night's sleep for him! Obviously there's an issue with sound-proofing between the rooms. The wall that separated us was not solid brickwork, it seemed to be hard plasterboard or something like that.

Hygiene was spot on, therefore no issues with cleanliness. No bed bugs (I always check for those things). The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean, and the room maintained a comfortable temperature throughout the night. The breakfast buffet was very good in terms of choice (including fresh croissants & pain au chocolat), beverages, and generous in terms of how much you're allowed to eat. I had a satisfying breakfast, definitely no complaints there.

    NOT BAD

I did not have breakfast at this hotel, so I cannot comment. The hotel is closed in the evening and there is no attendant. Normally, there should be a staff member at the reception 24 hours a day. This is my understanding of hotels. The hotel is very clean, quiet and very positive in this sense. But what is missing is no glass, no kettle, no water to drink. The worst part is that after 7 pm, all markets are closed and it is very difficult to find anything to eat or drink. If a place is called a hotel, it should at least have tea, coffee, and drinking water service. In this sense, the person staying there feels alone and unable to find food and drink. If your goal is to go to sleep immediately and leave the hotel as soon as you wake up, no problem, it's perfect. No matter what, a person staying in a hotel cannot be left alone in this city. I think they should change the name and remove the word hotel.
