Wifi was bad so I had to use my own internet package. There were a lot of university students and unfortunately they were very noisy in and out of the room :(

If you’re looking for a quiet stay, that’s not it. It was full of running around kids, youngsters, there was some coffee making event (which I won’t complaint about, cause I loved it). The room didn’t have any wardrobe. The bathroom had a sliding door which barely gave any sound insulation.

Close to the city center. The staff allowed us to keep bags and backpacks until the check in that was at 15 (I wish it was earlier). Breakfast was good.

The bathrooms were full of black mold. It feels like they don't even try to clean those properly. The little shelf near the bed was not clean at all - someone had spilled some sticky stuff on there and the cleaners hadn't cleaned it before my arrival. And if I have to pay more than €35 per night, I would expect the cleaners to be a little more thorough than they were. We also weren't allowed to leave our bags on the day of check-out (the same day as the 2nd Taylor Swift concert), because "the storage room is reserved for paying costumers who sleep here". As if I hadn't payed for my stay in the days prior.

The hostel organised some fun things for the Taylor Swift concert (which was the reason I was in Lyon), so that was a lot of fun! The female dorm was nice to stay in, very spacious. And the location is nice: close to some grocery stores and to some nice bakeries and a tearoom.

The bunk bed had only one plug and the ladder was slightly hard to hold on to for descending.

The staff was great, the kitchen was well equipped, the location was perfect as it’s close to everything. The shower the toilet and amenities were perfect. I was in a female only dorm and the room mates were respectable.

The stairs are quite steep and there's no lift. You have to take off your sheets and bring them down before checking out The building is old, and the wooden floors and beds make a lot of noises

The location is great, very central with good transportation connection. Internet connection was good, enough even for videocalls.

My stay started off very rocky, but the exceptional customer service from the staff saved it: I was in a 10-bed female dorm from friday to monday, friday night was okay noise-wise even though the guests were not very careful. But then Saturday came and all hell broke loose: nightclub in front of my window was blasting music until 4 am, and people were screaming until 5:30 in the street. There was a massive group of teenagers (I would say over 60 of them) that checked in on Saturday and they were loud as hell in the corridors, even playing loud music in the shared bathroom, and seemingly filming tiktoks until 3 am. Plus, the guests in my room were opening lights and banging their stuff around all night. So the next morning, having slept 2 hours total, I went to the front desk to ask to be changed rooms, even willing to pay for a private room. They were super accommodating and put me in an empty dorm, since the group of teenagers had left, there was space. I really appreciated being able to catch up on sleep then, and also that dorm smelled super clean (the first one didn't... smelled like feet). Overall I would come again but in a private room, and request a room away from the street where the nightclub is. I also have to say that the rooms could have been a little cleaner, especially the shelf next to our bed, the two I had were quite dusty.

Great coffee in the cafe downstairs, nice common area to hang out and have a beer, spacious and well-lit dorms. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere is very quiet in the evening, if you are looking for night life or restaurants nearby maybe not the best place but if you want a quiet place to unwind or work then this is perfect

Bed was very uncomfortable, shower space was really small, no place to hang things and the short curtain let the bathroom floor wet. Not hot water in the sink. The whole place was pretty noisy, specially in the mornings, but understandable being a hostel.

Great location! Room was big enough for 2 people. Bathroom was spacious. Reading lights over the bed were a great detail.

The air got super stuffy in the room, so we had to open the windows to air it out.

Love the staff, very friendly. We paid for a room in a 10 bed dorm, & they were able to put us in one that was empty. It rained the entire Sunday we were there, and they lent us an umbrella.
