It's a French thing I guess, but disposing of trash and recycling is a pain in Vannes. Bins for all these are located about 200 meters away at the top of the street. At home my bins are in my garden 10 meters away. The only positive was that the bins were opposite the bakery, so I dropped off the trash and recycling on the way for the breakfast baguettes and croissants, not forgetting hand sanitizer after the bins!

Located just behind the Town Hall on a busy street in Vannes, the apartment on the first floor was ideal. It was just 5 minutes from Vannes beautiful old town, with all its restaurants and bars. The apartment had a functional kitchen and seating area, but upstairs the attic space for the bedroom and bathroom were outstanding and spacious. Nicolas the host was very communicative by text and phone to ensure we were able to park in a free carpark and access the apartment initially by coded locks. The Saturday Market takes over the Old Town and is well worth a visit. If we return to Vannes in the future we would certainly stop here.

The kitchen was poorly provisioned - tea towel not clean, no sponges or paper towel, only two coffee pods for three people for 1 week.

The bedroom and bathroom were bright and spacious. The location was excellent, a short walk to the city centre and the port. Nicolas was an extremely responsive host and made our stay more pleasant.

I liked everything about this sweet 2 level apartment. Soooo cute and stylish and comfortable. amazing bedroom upstairs. Great location. Free parking just a couple minutes away. would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Not a problem for us but stairs make it difficult for people with walking issues. Wheelchairs impossible. Again not a problem but balcony would be nice.

Clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet and an excellent host. Great location for old quarter. An Irish bar and supermarket are opposite. Photocopying and bar/tabac almost next door. Parking inexpensive for each 2 or 3 hour period almost behind apartment. It does not make sense to stay in a hotel when this property is available.

Loved it all, to be fussy an extra kitchen towel would have been good but that’s just a very minor thing.

Could not park at the property so slightly difficult to pack and unpack although we were directed to free parking about 4 minutes walk away. Although there was a little kitchenette it would be difficult to cook anything more than a very simple meal. We would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Very good town placed accommodation which suited our purposes. Bed, linens and bathroom were excellent and the host was very helpful and recommended some local restaurants. The one we chose was one of the best meals we had eaten in Brittany.

The kitchen was lacking a little in facilities. A bit of mould in the shower and a chest of drawers in the bedroom so you could unpack a few more clothes would be really useful.

Nice, spacious apartment within easy walking reach of a beautiful town.
