Amazing property stunning location Pierre & Simone were so accomodating they booked restaurants and taxis for us and truly looked after us. The visit to the chapel was very impressive Would highly recommend

Location was great only a few miles from Saint Lo, lovely looking property, met by the owner, a man full of knowledge about the property and surrounding area. Gorgeous horses in stables, our room was on the ground floor beside a small pond which was very picturesque. Beautiful big bathroom fantastic large bedroom with a dining table so you could eat breakfast the following morning. Breakfast wasn't supplied but there was an abundance of breakfast materials for the next morning supplied by the owner. The owners wife then gave us a tour of the mediaeval property which included a church that has been there for hundreds of years she took us inside and told us the history of this church. Fantastic sleep that night as it was extremely quiet. Would highly recommend.

All was good.

The location was actually good. It was in the peace of the country but close enough to the town. Both our host and hostess were kind and pleasant people. The building dates back to the 12th century and has been sympathetically restored. Apparently the chapel is the oldest in Normandy. We met 4 of the 5 little dogs and 2 horses.

Lovely location and great place to stay. Phileppe and his wife were lovely and they organised a taxi for us and booked a great restaurant. Would be very happy to stay there again.

The room entrance layout was awkward but not the fault of the hosts or easily corrected. We also had difficulties with the door locks but this may have been our 'out of country newbie-ness'. The hosts were very helpful. Hosts that are responsive to problems - solves the problem for me.!

Beautiful spot with wonderful hosts. Very large room and bathroom in a stunning building. The view from the room was so charming and private. We were lucky to visit with them over a stone table + their cider. We met their dogs (and horses). This gave me great joy and was a big stress reliever while traveling.

There was nothing to dislike

I liked everything, also the history of the place including the 900year old chapel where monks used to pray,the hosts were very welcoming, the husband gave us a guided tour of the chapel and the history fantastic, can't fault any thing

Hosts Phillipe and Simone were lovely, making sure we were comfortable in our rooms and available for any questions. I booked both the 2 bedroom apt and superior apt for our group of 5. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The property is a 12th century monastery. It has a chapel attached which Phillipe was kind enough to show us and share its history. They have horses, chickens and adorable dogs. My girls said one of the highlights of our trip to France was staying here and seeing their animals. Rooms have an electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator and the hosts provide coffee, tea, madeleines, cereal and juice in each room. Location is about 8-10 min away from some restaurants downtown.

Exceptional property with atmosphere, history, in the beautiful pieceful surrounding. We got welcomed by three small friendly dogs and after that the owner showed us the whole house and told us its history. Rooms are spaceous and comfortable. Close to many touristic attractions. We wished we stayed longer than one night but hope we’ll come back one day! :)

Absolutely everything. Our host Philippe was a treasure and his home and location is outstanding. We travel a lot and this is the most outstanding accommodation we’ve seen in a very long time, particularly in this price range. It was gorgeous, spacious, well appointed and a pure joy to stay.

Private comfortable accommodation in a country setting. We loved watching the chickens, the dogs came to say hello every morning and the horses were a bonus.

Phillipe and Simone are a lovely friendly couple. They have restored this lovely old building which includes a chapel from around the 12th century. Thus was the only part of the building not to be destroyed in the bombing of WW2. They also keep horses and chickens.

This property has so much history and is very cozy. I would pay twice the price for it! In addition, as a solo female traveller I always felt safe and taken care of. Phillipe is a wonderful host and even took time out of his day to show me the Chapel that is on the property.
