“Looking for an authentic village without the tourist twang, then it's Cucuron. Le Clos du Pontet is a most homely small hotel. Situated in a small squre with a view up to the church. Very quiet spot,lovely to just sit outside and re-set with a coffee. It has all the facilities you need, they even assist arrange for laundry to be done from the next village. Our room was comfortable and warm with a lovely all day sun balcony. A modern bathroom with good room to move. What the owner lacks in English he makes up for in exuberance and laughter, but of course his beautiful partner has good english. Dine in the food is great and the menu excellent. The wine list well rounded.
