“Pierre was a fantastic host. Very attentive and extremely helpful and friendly. A very old house full of interesting objects and right in the centre of Laon. So quirky and individual but still Pierre had provided everything we could possibly need. It was great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room and in the communal area downstairs. There was every kind of tea and even a juicer machine with fresh fruit. Great breakfast. Loved Laon - full of character with an amazing cathedral. Would have liked longer to explore.”

“Used this Ibis before, but this time for a 2-night stay, to for a couple of days cycling before returning to Calais. The room assigned was smaller than previously given, but at the same price, and there was no hair dryer, so mentioned this to the receptionist. Was immediately assigned the better room by the very helpful staff member. On checkout we asked to leave the car in the parking while we had a last bike ride, and to return briefly to use the washroom before driving to Calais. This was granted and enormously helpful. Excellent service by the staff on all counts.”
“A very convenient location in the old town with free parking very nearby. A lovely light space and good- sized studio with everything we needed. Very clean and well- equipped.
Has a shared outside space with chairs and tables so we could eat outside if we wanted to and chairs to relax in.
The host communicated well explaining how to get inside and popped in later to check everything was ok.
Lovely Cathedral and inexpensive Land Train ride which gives a great tour of the old town with commentary.
Good places to eat and lots of supermarkets 10 mins drive away.”
