Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Easy to get to by tram, close to everything in Helsinki centre. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Many lifts so didn't need to wait. Spacious room.

United KingdomThe hotel is a converted warehouse building. Whilst this works well architecturally,the hotel did feel a little tired in its decoration and facilities e.g basic bathroom and small TV. We also did not like the thin mattresses on the beds that moved a lot in the night. Breakfast was very crowded on our first morning, not as relaxed as the following days.
This is a large hotel adjacent to the Helsinki conference centre. It is well situated for the centre of the city. It has all of the amenities you would expect from a large chain. The breakfast was plentiful.

SwedenNarrow bed, 10-20 cm wider would have been more comfortable. Bottom sheet too narrow for the narrow bed, couldn't be tucked around the mattress well enough to stay put during the night. A second pillow with cover would have been good for the evening reading in bed. Difficult to adjust room temperature; 3-4 degrees too warm for my sleeping comfort but my attempts to turn it down had no effect. The shower itself worked well but water got out under and on the side of the glass door from where it spread to the toilet/basin area due to the floor slope.

United StatesWhen we dropped our bags off in the morning, we asked if it was possible to check-in an hour early, if the room happened to be clean and available. They told us that we could come back 2 hours prior to check in and that it should be fine. We arrived one hour before check-in to inquire, and they told us we could check-in early, for 20€, that no one had mentioned before. We decided to just wait, but I didn't like that they weren't upfront about the charge in the beginning.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was an excellent location to access Helsinki from the ferry from Tallinn. They allowed us to store our bags in the luggage room before check-in. The breakfast had a large selection of food to choose from. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice.
