location was good, about a 15-20 minutes walk to the nearest supermarkets and the nearby city centre. check-in was seamless too and sufficient extra linen was provided as well. balcony view from the apartment was pretty superb too especially at night! kitchen was very well equipped with salt & pepper, oil, coffee etc. it had everything you need for basic cooking.

Home away from home. Had the most lovely time in this quaint and beautiful house. It was like living in a treasure chest, with all the interesting art work and furniture. It is also very spacious. For our family of 5 adults, it was perfect, as everyone had a room to themselves and also have large living spaces. The kitchen was exciting too, fully equipped and stocked with basic cooking ingredients, tea and cofee which we were free to use. The amazing location, right in the center of the town, made us feel comfortable and welcomed as we could easily walk around to the activities and the markets. It was a blessing to have found this apartment. Thanks to the owners for opening such a heartwarming space for us. It made our trip to Finland memorable.

The location is not far from town centre of rovaniemi. Easily accessible if you drive a car. Without a car things might get a bit tricky. For large family, this property really represents great value. You get enough beds for 7 people. Sauna is a nice added feature to heat up and sweat after a long freezing day.

The one and only thing to keep in mind is the distance the apartments are located from the train station. The public transport service is pretty bad, the bus runs only several times each day. On Sunday, there is no service at all - so you end up paying for a taxi or walking the stretch, which is an exhausting experience with a lot of baggage :))

As a group of people without experience up in the north, we were pleasantly surprised by the apartments, as they were much better equipped than we expected. There's enough room to cook & have a dinner with more than 10 people, and the probably most useful thing we didn't even know about was an electrical closet that quickly dries wet clothes - pretty handy with all the snow!

20-25 minutes to walk to the city centre. But with a car it is not a problem.

Spacious apartment. Very warm. Clear and well equipped. The nature outside is beautiful, especially with fresh snow. Comfortable beds. Convenient parking place. Good location if you have a car and want to travel around. Sauna and fire place are very good to spend time with friends after an active day or before catching Aurora (Good place for Aurora is 66.582417, 26.025044 if you have a car)

Nice apartment, well situated. it's better to rent a car, but if you don't, many excursions operators can get you nearby. Perfect equipment, nothing missing. We had a problem on the 25th of December, we left the key inside... The owner came at once!

Really loved our stay here. House was toasty warm and had everything that we needed as a family. We never ate out at a restaurant and the kitchen had everything. Enjoyed the coffee maker but with 3 kids we absolutely loved the drying cupboard! Never saw one before and fell in love with it! Sauna was very cool and the husband was in it every night. It was lovely and quiet and was a 5min drive to santa village and the ski slopes. Minutes away from the supermarket and booze shop too. Hosts were fabulous at letting us pay extra to check in early and check out late.

I payed around $2000 for 4 nights. Just 3 days after booking it my flight changed and I was not going to be in Rovaniemi the first two nights I booked. It was still three weeks until the date of arrival and the owner kept $1000 from me even though they knew I couldn’t go into their apartment. They were absolutely not reasonable at all and didn’t want to refund any amount. They could have still booked their appartment to another person instead of keeping my money. But they decided to keep the reservation and don’t give back anything, not even comsidered just a little penalty. That’s not honest. They were saying my dates got not refund as it was holidays. But my plans changed just 3 days after the booking and a lot of time was left for them to keep offering the place to someone else. The worst persons ever.
