Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongI don't like that I only stayed there for one night ($$$$ but it worths the money) Tips: - Take Uber if do not drive! - Buy your food and cook there because there's not a restaurant nearby! - It was quite hot when the sun rises and it's very bright. Wear a eye mask when you sleep and turn on the Air-con! - Watch out your head (if you're taller than 170cm) when you're upstairs because the ceiling is quite low. Last comment: We followed the guideline to turn off outdoor lights after 10pm (or 9pm i forgot) to see the northern light, but the condo next to us didn't. So it was a bit disturbing to see the aurora properly but generally speaking we're already satisfied.
It's a dream-like experience. The house is SUPER NICE, as described. Well equipped with washing machine and equipment to cook. They also have a TV equipped with Netflix and Youtube. The Sauna was also super nice (note that it takes quite sometime to heat up (Be prepared!) I will definitely visit again to build more snowmans :D MOST IMPORTANTLY WE SAW THE NORTHERN LIGHTS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR LIFE HERE! (Good luck everyone!!)

United Kingdomas other people have mentioned the outside lights from other cabins are very annoying and can ruin the experience a little. when we messaged the hosts they did message other cabin owners but it didn’t make too much difference. to be fair, I don’t know why they’d even need the outside lights and would be better getting rid of them. Due to the remoteness I do think a basket of bits such as tea bags, bread, milk would be a nice when you arrive, along with some flyers etc of things to do locally
the property was amazing and a real luxury experience. The location is fantastic and you have everything you need. we stayed 4 nights and were lucky enough to see the northern lights several times on our first night which was amazing.

United StatesDishes were in the dishwasher, couldn’t tell if they were clean or not. The place had a very strange smell that we couldn’t trace the source of, something between old food and something unclean. The pillows were super cheap, were encased in this super thin film and not supportive at all.

AustriaI had to text the owner so she would send me the information about check in and house rules, it would be an even better service, if she would send it herself maybe a week before arrival. This isnt anything that I didnt like, just a tip for future guests: At the entrance of the jacuzzi, since you go in and out wet, it is very icy, so I would recommend to be extra careful there, so you dont get hurt or put a towel there, so you dont slip! :)
We had an amazing stay at this apartment! We loved the place and especially the jacuzzi. I was really glad that this apartment hat the windows looking into the woods and not on the street side. Unfortunately the sky was pretty cloudy that night, so we couldnt see a lot trough the stunning glass roof. But around 11pm we had a short cloud free sky and in those couple of minutes we spotted the Aurora lights! It was gone in seconds again, but it is an memory we will never forget! It isnt something that is usually in our price range when we travel, but I think for one night it was really worth it!

United KingdomThe towels had stains on :( which is such a shame cause this is the only thing that let it down. something I would suggest - a little welcome basket maybe containing tea, coffee, sugar & maybe some biscuits / chocolate. As it is away from shops and any type of cafe for little ones to walk. we came in a taxi from a hotel and therefore only had our feet to find places and with a 5 year old in the cold that wasn’t an option.
lovely property, great views of the forest, cosy & warm.

SwitzerlandMy wife and I have been in many hotels, airbnbs, bungalows, villas etc. and we are not very picky, but Levin Hurma had by far the worst price-performance ratio. The dishes were dirty and smelled fishy, the reserve blanket and pillows had hair and dirt stanes, there were missing and empty utils, which should be included according to the confirmation. After asking for detergent, they first told us to go buy by ourselves and then said someone will bring but no one came. On the first day, I slipped and fell from the steep and narrow stairs which were extremely slippery and I got bruises all over my legs. The roof part is very short, you need to bow all the time otherwise you will hit your head to the steel parts. At nights, any small source of light will ruin the view, especially if the neighbours won’t turn their lights off. The houses are very close to each other so the neighbours can freely watch you sleep in your bed and you have no chance to cover. Same is when you have an extremely sunny morning. If you have spent the night hunting for the auroras or did other activities and want to sleep a little longer, you have no way to block the sun. Overall, everything in the accommodation felt very cheap. The tools, dishes, material of furniture or even the electronics are really the cheapest on the market. For an accommodation so expensive, you would expect better quality. The couch was extremely uncomfortable, you cannot get cozy on it. The sauna and the shower were extremely small and narrow and the sauna had very poor isolation.

AustraliaWe found Levin Hurma did not meet our expectations. It gives the impression of being isolated and private but this is not the case. The bathroom is tiny - the sauna is the focal point with little consideration for fitting in a shower and toilet. Glass ceiling is low - I am approx 168cm and couldn't stand up without hitting my head on the beams. The lights from the ski resort means it is bright all night. Stairs are steep and noisy. The door step was very icy and there is no shelter over the front door.
The outlook was nice. Private jacuzzi great. Very clean and modern. Being able to melt the snow from the roof was super handy.

United StatesThe “second bed” was a sofa bed, but there were no sheets to prepare the bed, and the mattress was very stained. There’s no warning that tall people can’t stand up. There weren’t two towels provided - one for shower and one for sauna/hot tub.
The hot tub. The sauna. The ceiling.

ItalyThe neighbors all had bright outdoor lights that gave off terrible light pollution and limited your ability to enjoy the aurora borealis. they stayed on late and shined right into the top floor bedroom.
Had all you needed for an extended stay and close to town. Well kept with snow and ice removal daily. Helpful staff.
