We had a great stay, the hotel is across Lapland Safari’s where you can book your husky safari or a visit to the amethyst mine and is also surounded by nice restaurants. It’s also really worth it to have diner at the hotel restaurant. After a long day it was relaxing to take a sauna and build up a fire at the fireplace in the room. The staff is really friendly and helpful too.

The price of igloos isn't cheap, but you have to try it !

The igloo was very confortable and the experience was unique. The food was tasty and the buffet for the breakfast is good. The fireplace creates a cozy appearance during the aperitif. The most appreciated is the restaurant open for long period.

We were staying in "standard" rooms, but we saw igloos passing by and they are too close to each other and too full of snow. I don't know if they would be a good choice, for the very high price they have.

The room we had was perfect for 2 people, quite big actually. We spent only one night but would have been good for a longer stay. The sauna was very new and functioning well, so it was a wonderful experience to have it in our own bathroom. Breakfast was good, it had more salty than sweet stuff, but it was OK. Position is right in front of the slopes so I guess it is perfect for skyers.

The room was absolutely amazing! I would say even better than the pictures. We had the room with fireplace and sauna and it was the best decision ever, we had such a relaxing time after hiking or other activities during the day. Breakfast is really good and the dinner is absolutely amazing as well!

It's strange that at 9 pm the hotel reception closes at 9 pm including the lobby. Therefore you can only be in your room if you're in the hotel after 9, no relaxing in the lobby for example

Dinner options are not suitable for vegans or even vegetarians (only one very cheesy pasta and salad as options).

No much vegetarian variety in the menu

We loved the sauna & the fire place inside the room and the big window looking out to the snow covered garden and road. It would have been awesome if the Aurora happened. The location was also excellent, near the restaurants. The ski bus from the airport to the hotel and return trip was very efficient and comfortable. Cheaper option than renting a taxi

the sight of sky from the igloo is a little bit disturbed by lights positioned on the path. The restaurant was closed because of the season and links to Rovaniemi are quite rare (it’s better to ask before choosing flights)
