Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumFor my taste the television in the room could have been better. The bed was - again for my taste, not for my partner - a bit too hard.
Perfect location for a visit, even in this busy pre-Fallas days. On arrival a warm and quick reception and immediately to the clean and comfortable room. Thereafter off to hear the Mescletas, just 200 m away. Same for the fireworks at night. Streets were very busy but the hotel was well isolated so we slept well. Perfect breakfast choice in the morning, self)service type with ample of hot, cold, sweet, and non-sweet choices. Great coffee machines that delivered coffee and hot water quickly, for four people in parallel. Food and drinks at the bar were priced nicely and of good quality.

United KingdomThe showers were not ideal - choice of rain shower or hand held - we all prefer a wall shower. Also, no grab rail in the shower. Also, towel hooks too high - bathroom clearly designed by a man!
The location is ideal, just a short walk from Xativa metro and to all the old city's attractions. The rooms are large and the beds comfy. We didn't eat breakfast so cannot comment on that.

Very good location for the city just a short walk the the centre also close to the railway station. Good Spanish breakfast plenty of fresh fruit and good selection of breads cakes etc. Staff helpful and friendly very nice bedroom with a balcony overlooking a quiet car free street. Friendly little bar come café served snacks and beverages.

China- size of room - our room was a little dark - service. We found the hotel to be nice and comfortable, however also not a value for money considering the size of the room and the fact that they faced an internal court which was really dark. Service not adequate according to our opinion. One day it was raining and we asked if they had an umbrella for lending but they answered they could SELL an umbrella. That was a first for me, Many hotels of this category and price have umbrellas in the room, some put them in the lobby when it rains. I sent an email concerning some lost items after the trip, not answered. Resent, called, still not answered, and no, it did not end up in the spam.
