There was nothing we didn`t like

The interior of the house was decorated very tastefully by the owners. Each room is clean and well-kept, decorated with beautiful furniture, decorations, paintings, each in a unique style. You could feel the contact with art here. You can see that the owners put all their French heart into this house. The outside was clean and the greenery was simply beautiful. Guests have armchairs, loungers, sofas and a kitchen at their disposal. Delicious breakfasts were served in a beautiful dining room with large windows overlooking the surrounding landscape. At Villa Volubilis you can relax and rest in peace and comfort.

Perfect out of the way property with everything that you could want. Corinne and Donat were the perfect hosts ensuring we had everything that we needed.

The only negative we can come up with is that there were so many air fresheners. The smell was cloyingly sweet.

We loved the location, although remote, it was absolutely tranquil. The food was really, really great—grapefruit right off the trees, fresh farm eggs, perfect coffee… The sunrises and sunsets were magical!

Hosts do not speak and Spanish, English or any other language then French. Decor a bit overwhelming for a traveler. Basically, no place to set a luggage, personal belongings etc

Nice secluded B&B in the rural area of Valencia. Quiet and away from all the city noise and traffic. Nice shabby chic master suite. Clean and well kept room and decor. Adjustable king bed a plus.

Beautiful location and set up, stylishly decorated, and very welcoming hosts. Great spaces to sit. The idea of guests chatting together on the terrace was nice, but it was only my husband and I the night we stayed. Delicious breakfast.

The hosts are wonderful and were very warm and inviting. The room was amazing. Breakfast was lovely. Outside the garden and pool were very clean and tidy. The view from the terrace was beautiful. We will definitely be returning to stay here and meet the hosts again.

The 4pm check was hard after a long drive to get there.

Spent one night in this beautiful B&B and the host were fantastic. Very beautiful surroundings and decor. Breakfast was ample and delicious. We didn’t feel like driving into town (5km) to find somewhere to eat so we bought some food at the local supermarket and used the outdoor kitchen - it was awesome and drinks were available from the fridge for very reasonable price. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was the first experience living in the villa for us. And this 4 days we spent there were absolutely amazing! Oh my god, this is just an unbelievable place, you can`t even imagine. I have travelled quite a lot, but I have never met such adorable hosts and such a great place to stay. The territory is beautiful, clean and so nice! You can spend hours sitting with a cup of coffee watching the wonderful valley or just sunbathe and relax in silence. If you are lucky, you will draw the attention of two friendly dogs while sitting outside:) The villa inside is like Narnia to France. You open the door and you are not in Spain any more. This villa is a masterpiece! The whole design is thought out to the smallest detail. But it is better to see it with your own eyes, as there are no such words to describe how beautiful and stylish everything is! And the smell inside the rooms is perfect. The breakfasts were fabulous! You eat like in the best French restaurant! We were impressed with these breakfasts and were waiting for them every morning like kids are waiting for presents:) Corinne (the host) makes breakfast with all her love and you really feel this. Both of the hosts, Corinne and Donat, are such thoughtful, caring and kind. They are very welcoming and interesting people. Villa Volubilis is an exceptional place! For us it was like a fairy tale with all these exquisite decorations, delicious breakfasts and such a kind caring treatment. You will definitely love this place, trust me.

That we did not have more days to spend there;) It was perfect.

Their house was picture perfect with a beautiful farm/vast field facing the property. Very well equipped and well kept. The breakfast was very very good…absolutely loved it.

The room was cold on arrival but heaters were available and it warmed up. The description of a kettle being available is not really appropriate outside the summer season as this was in an outdoor kitchen area. We visited in February.

The host was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Views from the terrace exceptional. We would return.

The Villa is in a remote location and therefore no noise or light pollution. the owners were fantastic hosts and looked after us.

Everything was perfect. Descriptions are correct. I like to add that there is a common outdoor kitchen where you can prepare your own food.

- Due to the fact that the hosts do not speak English (and we don't speak Spanish or French) the communication was not always so smooth (eg. we didn't know at the beginning of our stay that there is an outdoor kitchen), but the hosts are trying to do their best by using Google Translate, so generally we didn't have bigger problems with communication. - Although the place itself is very quite, you might hear the loud music from the neighborhood in some weekend nights (but we had such distraction only twice during a week's stay) - There are no restaurants or supermarkets in the walking distance.

- Clean, spacious enough and nicely decorated room with big comfy bed - Access to the outdoor kitchen, relaxation zone with sofas and armchairs, swimming pool and terrace with beautiful view on the valley - Very private and calm place (only 3 rooms for guests) - Tasty breakfasts (yoghurt, breakfast cereals, fresh fruits, cakes, cheese, ham, jam, bread, coffee, fresh orange juice, sometimes egg) with chilling music and amazing view - Very kind and caring hosts

very peaceful place with wonderful views. hosts make you feel very welcome, they are really great and we had really nice chats with them we found the place easily with GPS many little terraced spaces to relax. all of them with great views. breakfast was really good with fresh fruits and juices

Nothing, the experience as a whole was truly amazing.

Beautiful villa with exceptional views, a breakfast to die for and hosts that made us feel totally at home. Their attention to detail throughout the house and stay was impeccable We are so glad our flights got cancelled and we got to discover this little gem in the process.
