There was nothing I didn’t like. It is in quite a remote location so having a car is essential if you want to see something of the region.

Relaxed atmosphere with superb swimming pool. Beautiful setting with lovely garden. Very helpful hosts, Rosemarie and Stephen who make every guest feel special. They were very flexible about everything to fit in with guests wishes. The food was fantastic. The whole place was spotless and felt very safe and secure.

We didn't have control of the air conditioning as the control was removed from the room. It was set to 25 degrees C and so the room was quite hot at night. On booking.com, it mentioned that the villa was about 1 mile from the airport. In fact it was about 8 miles. The taxi driver would have found it difficult to find, but luckily the manager of the villa texted us specific directions upon landing at the airport.

A lovely villa with garden and swimming pool. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a lovely selection of fruit, cereal, cheese and meats. Gluten free options were no problem. The staff were very helpful.

Air conditioning would have improved the stay from an 8 to a 10. You need to have the GPS co-ordinates to find the guest house.

Cozy and very clean bedroom with an en suite bathroom, perfect for a couple of days 12 minutes away from the beach by car. Tasty and assorted breakfast included to enjoy by the pool ;) Owners were quite nice to us and even though they would not speak Spanish/English, we managed to communicate with them. We had a great time! Thanks a bunch!

Staying at Casa Veronica could have been a nice & peaceful experience, like all holiday’s experiences should be. Unfortunately, it was not. I was a guest who paid for a service, but it did not look like it at all. I still cannot believe how rude and inappropriate Rosemarie's behaviour was. First of all, Rosemarie is rarely smiling to you, even when she welcomes you for the first time. It looks like it's simply bothering her that you are around. If that would had been the only thing, I would have got over it because I just wanted to enjoy my holidays. But then, there was the "breakfast issue". Although it is written in black and white everywhere (Booking, official website + leaflet in the bedroom) that breakfast is served FROM 9:00 UNTIL 11:00 am, Rosemarie clearly wants to serve it at 9:00 in order to be free as early as possible for the rest of her day. When I checked-in, she told me "Tomorrow I'll serve the breakfast at 9:00 am, it's OK like that?" I was surprised that she was imposing a precise schedule as I was on vacation and should have been "allowed" to sleep and come WITHIN the indicated hours for breakfast. But I answered politely that I would rather come at 10:00 and I felt immediately that she did not appreciate my answer. The following day, she told me while I was having breakfast "Well, tomorrow breakfast from 9:00, OK?". I understood very well that it meant AT 9:00 in her mouth (we talked in German together and she said "AB" 9:00 and not "UM" 9:00) but just let it go and answered "Yes, OK.". The following morning, I arrived at 10:00 for breakfast (having put an alarm otherwise I would have slept more because, again, I was on vacation) and WOW what a welcome!: Rosemarie let out, without even a "Good morning", looking at me in a very angry way: "Breakfast is at 9:00 am. It is not OK to come at 10:00 when you said you would come at 9:00.

Nothing. The pictures look way more better than the place looks in reality. The beds are very uncomfortable: twin beds put together and old mattresses with springs. I got back pain after staying there. Only the food from the breakfast is nice BUT BE AWARE, just the food, not the breakfast experience in itself as you don't get a smile AND you get told off like a 5-year-old little child if you don't arrive first hour in the morning. High music starts around 10:00 am (if you want calm and peace, forget about it). And there is nothing about "wellness" in this place at this stage. It's apparently planned, but at this stage it does not deserve this name. The only kind thing Rosemarie did for me was to accept to receive a personal shipment before my arrival.

It is a tastefully decorated house in a quiet spot in countryside, which is managed by fantastic hosts. The rooms are cosy and very clean. A good breakfast is served in a very nice terrace. The swimming pool area is very pleasant. The location is very close to interesting places and to all the necessary services. Of course, you need to rent a car or a motorbike. You will find the place very easily by using Google Maps. Hosts are very nice and friendly and do their best to make your visit pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you Rosemarie and Steffen for your great hospitality!

Stefan and Rosemarie were so so friendly, and so accommodating. I only could stay for one night, but they made it so special. The pool was lovely, the breakfast so delicious, and the Aperol Spritz was amazing! Can also definitely recommend the shuttle service. Tack så mycket, Danke schön !! :-)

The location is not perfect if you don’t have a car, since the timetables of buses on weekends aren’t that good.

The area is quite remote, we had a car so was not a problem for us but use of a fridge would be helpful so you could stock up on snacks and refreshments given shops are not close by.

We had a lovely, relaxed and very well-hosted stay in Casa Veronika by Rosemarie and Stefan! For this vacation, we wanted to relax as much as possible and this house, garden and pool give us all we wanted and needed! Also a lot of recommendations from hosts for lunch, and dinner places (they also can make dinner on request with candlelights at home! The breakfast was included, delicious and very nicely presented! Big pool for swimming and also a place where you can play tennis. If you are a cat lover this is a place for you! They have big and small cats and you can play with them! We loved how many and the very big variety of plants they have around the house/ pool! Definitely, one of our best stays/vacations. Big thanks to Rosemarie and Stefan because they treated us not like guests but like family 💙 and we felt very special! We can't wait to visit them again!

Unfortunately, and this was beyond the owners control, the accommodation was also being used by a large group of young people who were drinking heavily and making a lot of noise through the early hours of the morning, despite our hosts best efforts to quieten them. As this was taking place directly outside of our bedroom window, as well as internal shouting and banging of doors - so it gave us a poor night's sleep, shortened further by the fact that we had an early departure ourselves to arrive at the airport to meet a flight. This accommodation has only newly opened and the owners have promised that they will ensure that such a booking is not accepted in the future. This experience will not deter us from making further bookings for ourselves and friends in the future.

The location did not seem to match either the GPS location we were given on the directions, nor the address shown and used by our car sat nav. The road and Villa are unmarked (at least not easily visible, if present) on an side track. Unfortunately we had to find a local bar and telephone the owners from there, for them to come and collect us. However, on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the premises and the quality of room/bathroom decor and furnishings. We received a warm welcome from the owners. This property is only a short drive from Alicante airport, so is ideal for welcoming visitors or others using early morning flights on the following day. (We live several hours drive away from the airport and would otherwise have had to leave home at 3.00 a.m.) There were only the two of us at our 8.00 a.m. breakfast and we were presented with a beautifully displayed selection of fruits,, cheeses, cooked meats, spreads and baked goods - including gluten-free bread for myself which was much appreciated.
