Was sent codes to access hostel & room and was not informed when code for hostel changed overnight. No one on reception meant this took more time to rectify

Check-in is thru intercom. No instructions in English. Works well once you figure it out ;) (I was traveling on a bicycle - several stairs must be negotiated to reach the hostal)

Superb location. Clean and comfortable room and bed. Huge locker. Safe. Basic breakfast from 7 till 10:30. Friendly staff once you meet them. Overall a great place to stay. Would come back.

I like everything! I was there during the weekday so I had the whole room to myself. The facilities are new. The shower is amazing! The bed, pillow, and linens are clean and comfortable. The check in is a breeze. I don’t understand why people complain about it. Just press the bell icon. Wait for someone to answer. Just remember to read the PIN numbers carefully. One is for the main doors, the other is for the room. I kept on pressing the wrong numbers hence I was not able to get in right away. My bad! Puri the staff was the icing on the cake!

I wished there was staff on site for the check-in, I thought it was confusing that I had to fill out a paper form with information I had already provided by email. It was a minor inconvenience, though, not really a problem.

Excellent location. The staff that served breakfast was very nice. The bed, mattress and pillow were comfortable and I slept very well. The lockers were big enough. Privacy curtains were good. I'd stay here again.

The check-in was not my favorite but not impossible. I did the pre check-in through the official booking.com email but still had to enter the same info again at the hostel. The person at the other end of check-in is patient but I handled it in Spanish. I’m not sure if English would make it more difficult. The internet is strongest near the dining room and has trouble supporting streaming at the ends of the hostel (rooms 1 and 5).

The two staff members who arrive in the morning are some of the nicest people you will meet in Caceres. The included breakfast is typical of any you will find in Spain: coffee, juice, milk, toast, cookies, and magdalenas.

Since it's a historic area, getting there with a suitcase on wheels might be a challenge since you have to walk for at least 7 min on cobblestone road. It wasn't an issue for me, bit it might be for some people - the beds are triple banks so it might be a challenge for some to get all the way up.

Shower in the room, very convenient. Super clean. Excellent location for sightseeing. The couple that works there is super nice and at breakfast it feels like you're at a family-run bed and breakfast. A great view of the city from the terrace.

It was ok, no incidents or whatever but Im not a fan of no staff front desk and check in. Also, the room got very cold once the air conditioner was off at my arrival. Not a good breakfast.

The instalations were amazing, great bed, linens and duvet. Great bathroom, loved the warming light. Great city view from the terrace and expectacular location overall. Silent, clean and fully equiped.

In albergue type room, you could be assigned to the third cot up, not second, but third up. Just hope that they got fewer guests or else climbing vertically up to your cot would be something memorable.

The impersonal speaker phone transaction that acts as the front desk persona gave me an impression that the place is simply a space to be in, well, who cares; further, that one is bluntly told that one cannot stay a second longer beyond check out time at 11 am, was something strange to me.

The rooms, from bathrooms to dining area is superbly clean and orderly. Although brewed coffee, milk, and juice are sufficient, better buy your own fruit, yogurt, and cereals ahead or later for there's none during breakfast.

Was tricky to find at night, no signs on the front door had to call to get the infos for check in (no one was on site) but it went smooth

The only online check in is a mess, it takes ages to get the code and got stuck at the front doors for a long time twice as they changed the code overnight without sending the new one Lounge area only has the breakfast stuffs (toaster and microwave) Triple bunks, in tiny room, gets tight if all beds are occupied

The room had no toilet, only the shower - which was quite weird. The opening mechanism for the door was loud. The lack of in-person front desk employees (only via call) is a little bit confusing.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was typical Spanish, so it was sweet. The beds were comfy, quite spacious, and private.
