Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandOnly the bed - thick and hard pillows, but this is a matter of taste. In contrast the mattress was far too soft (worn out ?), making the person sink and be bent.
Everything except the bed.

PolandGiven the location (Walking distance from the historical city center 40+ mins) could be a bit cheaper.
Very clean, spacious rooms, everything new. Free parking spots rather easy to find around the hotel. Visited in June 2024.

BulgariaThe breakfast was okey although it lacked some things like oats or fresh vegetables. I would suggest that some minor improvements of the room be done. For instance, it would be good to put a bigger dust bin in the room and not just the toilet. Some complementary body lotions or beauty sets would be appreciated since it is a 4-star hotel.
It is a very nice looking building just like in the pictures. The hotel has an outdoor lounge/cafe area which was great. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and the level of their spoken English was pretty good.

FranceThe wifi did not work in the room, I could connect to it but the internet was not working which is very disappointing. The room did not have any window to see the outside and only had a roof window.
The hotel was very quiet and the location was ideal as it was located between the beach and the main things to see in the city (old city, oceanografic...). The staff was nice and the check-in and check-out were very fast.

SpainParts of the hotel are still in the process of refurbishment and we accidentally stumbled into one of the corridors that was still being painted which had sheets and boards on the ground as we tried to find our room initially. The local area also didn't have so many options for nice restaurants on a Sunday evening.
The hotel is being refurbished to a high standard and we had one of the newly updated rooms with a great large shower. The hotel also has an inner courtyard and feels spacious and modern inside despite being an older building. It also had parking, though it was also easy to find on-street parking nearby as it is in a more residential area.

United KingdomThe hotel is in a residential district with very few restaurants. There are local bars where you can get Tapas and the hotel does do snacks in the evening but that is about it. If you want to sit down for an evening meal you are going to need a taxi or bus. The breakfast is adequate and I would expected better for a 4* hotel. The aircon was very temperamental. It switches off when you take the key card out and is interlocked to the windows and so you need to joggle the windows to get it to work and it can stop in the night.
The rooms look new and feels new and clean. There is good Wifi and plenty of sockets if you need to charge things up, or work, as I did. Beds made and bathroom cleaned every day. The passages are well lit and spotless.

AustriaThe room had one narrow window and was so dark, it was depressing. No daylight whatsoever. The bathroom smelled like sewage every time I showered. The AC works fine but it’s impossible to sleep when it’s on due to the loud noise. It might be okay for other people but I have trouble falling asleep when it’s loud. The state of the fridge was horrendous. The trays inside were broken, it had black mold on the bottom and they blocked it with a night stand.
I liked the location and they allowed me to store my luggage before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast was okay, not bad but also not great. They served baked beans that were almost always cold, same goes for the omelette

NetherlandsWIFI connection in the room was really really bad, I had to go downstairs to the terrace to get work done. Breakfast was way too crowded and not a lot of choice. Lines of 4 to 5 people waiting for the coffee machines. Really not what you want in the morning. Rooms are beautiful but definitely not sound proof, you can hear quite a lot of noise from people walking down the hall. .
Decent hotel with really nice helpful staff, great location (walking distance of,Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències), beautiful modern rooms. Style of the hotel is different, which definitely is a plus for me. Terrace and garden in front of the hotel are great. Parking underneath hotel excellent.

BelgiumWe needed the maintenance guy from the very beginning. He tries to repair a stammering lock with WD40, which is for rust only. It needed oil instead, and the lock latch is stil stammering now. Why are the room doors slamming as hell? At our arrival, we had a strong cloak smell in the bathroom. We tried ventilation at first. The reception guy told that there was no solution, and that the whole of Valencia had such problems. We needed to solve it by ourselves, by putting right the shower outlet gasket and siphon. Please fire the maintenance guy. Why is the use of the airco/fan incomprehensible and isn't there any guiding? Why is some of the breakfast food of Aldi quality, like ham, cheese, yogourt,... and why is there such a horrible coffee? Just spend 30% more on this food and install a machine that grinds coffee beans. The breakfast room is no better than a school refectory, extremely sound-reflective. Is there any management there, and did they ever enjoy a breakfast? And can the ladies at the reception desk be a bit more than just employees? Like hostesses?
The personnel at the breakfast was super kind. The building is nice and the site is spacious, with a garden and a patio. Not so far from the sea, when you have a bike.
