We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandWhen I was checking in I was asked to pay outstanding balance although booking.com took payment 3 days prior they didn't pass payment onto Timor Sol. I didn't think the young girl was very efficient in handling this. Until she got a colleague / manager and he sorted it out. I won't be booking with booking.com in future. I had done for years

IrelandVery outdated, room was smelly or else the aircon was, also not the cleanest with leak in bathroom also!! Grass at pool area isn't ideal! Left our luggage in luggage room on check out day and they were covered in ants upon collection which we informed reception of!

I have been using this property for over 20 yrs now. We always seem to have trouble with bathroom door. Was in 3810 on 8 th floor. No mirror except in bathroom. They seem to have taken mirror of wardrobe. Unable to see your dressed up😒.

BelgiumIt would be helpful to have cleaning brushes for the floor, especially for cleaning sand after a day at the beach. Although the cleaning service came every two days, having brushes would make it easier to maintain cleanliness in between.
The location was perfect, close to the city center and the airport. We really enjoyed the view, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a kitchen in the apartment. The space was also very generous for two people, super comfortable!

IrelandOur apartment on block b NEVER got any sun which was so disappointing. Also on check on day there are no shower facilities or changing rooms if you have a later flight which is a first time experience for me and very disappointing for a hotel this size.

CanadaThe room was a little basic and outdated. Not enough elevators. Although there were plenty of sun beds around the pool there was an issue with people reserving them and then disappearing for hours. The pool area could be a little noisy with the music from the hotel next door but wasn't a major issue
Location was great. Beach front with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Close to the marina as well. Staff were very friendly especially Sheyla who accommodated us with a late checkout. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The supermarket on site was really handy with competitive prices.
