one member of reception staff was a bit grumpy and the whole place was a little tired. i would have appreciated a bit more coffee in the room and more towels

the location was great if you want to spend time on the beach. breakfast was great value for money. room cleaning was excellent and beds comfortable

See above. Also I only paid for 1 breakfast. Because of the air-conditioning, everything that should be hot. Bacon, eggs etc were all completely cold

Lovely room with a Seaview upgrade. Very dissapointed that the main bar was closed. As a single lady, I like to go out for dinner and then come back to a bar at the hotel so I'm not on my own in my room. No information regarding the bar being closed when I booked. The poolside bar was very basic and only for use when at the pool.

Couldn’t really fault anything except maybe the deckchairs on the room balcony. As an older person, I found it a bit difficult to stand after sitting for a short time.

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Lovely dining area and staff were very helpful and friendly. Outside pool area was very relaxing although traffic was a bit noisy at times.

Seems silly, but lifts buttons were not responsive, you could never tell if the button was pressed. I would also improve quality of the coffee in the room.

The road is noisy (although we knew this before travelling). Also occasional sewage smell from the bathroom.

Staff very friendly and approachable. Great value for money. Near to the beach, bus stop and 30 minute walk into town.

Decor is slightly tired in places but the room was lovely and clean.

The hotel is perfectly located across the road from the beach. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast was varied and good value, the swimming pool was lovely.

Reception staff could be a bit friendlier.

Location was very good. All food was exceptional with great fresh fruit and lots of it. The bar and restaurant staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.

The lack of a bar in the evenings was a real disappointment and meant that the hotel lacked atmosphere once the pool bar was closed. The noise from traffic whilst in the garden was annoying at times. The pool was very cold. The bedroom lacked storage ( no drawers at all) The hot breakfast eg bacon and scrambled eggs were not hot enough. The hotel is a little tired in places.

The staff work very hard and were all very professional. The breakfast was in the main very good and the staff kept all areas very clean and tidy. The hotel is well located across the road from the beach and beach bars It’s only a short walk to the new port and a longer walk or cheap bus ride into the historic part of the centre and its restaurants etc. The garden is a nice place to relax and chat. It is close to an excellent supermarket. The lifts are good. We were on floor 6 so needed to use the lifts but we never seemed to wait very long for this. It was nice to have a good view of the sea and beach.

There could have been better storage facilities in the room eg drawers. TV choice limited for English speakers - strange that Fox News was one of the few available - very biased, prejudiced channel! No BBC, Sky, CNN or Al Jazeerah! Would have liked a rowing machine in the Fitness Suite. The bar was not open in the evenings so no chance for a night cap upon the return from town.

The room was spacious, the terrace a good size, the bed very comfortable. the bathroom and shower excellent - generally the room was first-rate. The breakfast had a great choice of options and the staff very attentive. The location too was great - close to the seafront, beach bars etc - and buses into the centre regular and cheap.
